Role: APJ Contract staffing Manager& Recruitment partner management Head (April 2011- till date)
In this role, I have been managing & leading a team for all Business Units across APAC Geography
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for complete contract hiring across divisions in APJ
• Empanelment of leadership hiring partners across APJ
• • Empanelment of Contract staffing & Perm staffing partners across APJ
• Contract hiring in emerging countries by identifying and stabilizing vendor base
• Manage the complete life cycle of contract & Permanent partners for APAC - from Evaluation, empanelment , publishing needs, rate negotiations, periodic performance evaluation, contract renewal & Termination
• Meeting recruitment SLAs set for Team
• Manage a team based out of different countries - responsible to Train high performing team of contract recruiters to deliver current and future business needs
• Governance of legal contracts signed with Partners - this involves strategic level interaction with Legal team
• Lead multiple global initiatives to improve the process from contract staffing perspective
• Lead the key initiatives from Talent Acquisition team which will improve the operating margin of Wipro technologies
• Quarterly, Half yearly & Annual partner review based on the performance for contract staffing & perm staffing partners
Achievements
• More than 2 million USD savings for Wipro Technologies through various cost savings initiatives
• Built a strong partner base in non-English speaking countries like Japan, south Korea, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar etc
• 3 years consecutively awarded for the highest operating margin compared to contractors in other Geographies
• Built the complete partner Eco system in more than 12 countries in APAC
• Increased the volume of hiring by 200% with a lesser cycle time
• Empanelled more than 50 recruitment partners across APAC countries in 2 years
• Introduced the contract rate card for all skill in APAC region which has helped the BDM’s to negotiate better rates with the clients based on the availability of skills & market rate
• Successfully managed the first APAC partner meeting along with Wipro Senior Management
• Vendor consolidation for all countries in APJ
• Streamlined the entire payment process & introduced compliance checks
• Reduced the one time hiring fee pay-out for all permanent staffing vendors


Team Lead - Global Contract staffing (Americas, EMEA, India & APAC) April 2009-2011
