Working for the Leisure & Culture Department, Nature of work is Memberships, Marketing and Retention Key Responsibilities:
• Processing the memberships and monitoring retention
• Producing E-bulletins to the operational managers with the membership statistics for each site
• Updating the website with membership and events information using Terminal 4
• Ensuring that correct marketing collateral is at all sites and in-date
• Dealing with face to face, telephone and email queries regarding memberships and promotions
• Assisting managers with membership promotions and events and sending out all the relevant information to customers
• Organising and supporting with events on the business promotional stands to advertise and sell memberships
• Producing E-bulletins to the operational managers with the membership statistics for each site
• Running monthly reports and creating analysis charts on our live, new and cancelled membership figures
• Managing the membership and marketing generic email inbox, which is advertised on all of our promotional work
• Dealing with customers direct debit and financial information and dealing with all BACS returns
• Processing payments via BACS, Debit/Credit Cards using the IPAYE system
• Completing the weekly Journals
• Raising invoices to external organisations to receive monies owed
• Managing with all purchasing procedures, placing all orders on behalf of the Leisure department and keeping records of all budget incomes. Retention
• Reporting on all membership analytics using the Cascade reporting system to find the key performance indicators for the membership sales.
• Managing all data in a spreadsheet format creating structured graphs to show monthly analysis which was presented to the senior teams and the wider business.
• These include storing data, creating reports, analysing reports, creating detailed charts and sharing findings with various company departments. Training
• I was responsible for the training of all new staff on systems and processes with guidance documents that I created in-house. Marketing
• Using the Terminal 4 system to update the CMS system and abiding by the Derby City Council standards.
• Publicising and marketing DCC seminars and events to the public
• Creating E-forms to improve customer service
• Planning event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives. Coming up with suggestions to enhance the event's success.
• Complying with all Derby City Council's working policies and procedures
