 Develop materials required for in-service teacher training under the project. This may include training manuals, modules, activity books, scripted lesson plan, decodable readers, leveled readers etc
 Work with the reading adviser, technical adviser and provincial/regional review committees to develop a scope and sequence for Urdu
 Use innovation and creativity in the material development process, taking into account recent research and best practices in reading instruction
 Ensure that all the materials developed are contextually relevant, error free, is in line with the national curriculum and is appropriate for early grade reading
 Work with the typists and graphic designer to produce attractive and reader friendly material
 Work with the reading adviser and other experts to train project staff, government officials and other counterparts under in-service teacher training program
 Ensure that all the material is ready for printing in due time before start of each cohort
 Monitor trainings, TIG meetings and visit schools to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the material
