Ensure quality & timely financial analysis to provide context & insights, decision making support

Preparing Feasibility studies for new stores in Kuwait and GCC, assisting executives in decision making to drive the business in right direction as per cooperate expansion plans

Manage the financial planning, analysis, reporting, accounting, and control functions, ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness reports

Drive process efficiencies and automation in finance & accounts

Worked on tools such as SAP, Tableau, Business Objects, Hyperion, Tagetik and Power BI, passionate about enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of finance processes and systems and empowering the organization with data-driven insights and solutions

Develop business planning, incl. capital and operating budgets and monitor effective execution
Working capital efficiencies - ensure optimal inventory level and receivable/payable management

Liaising with external auditors for year-end Auditing

Liaise with corporate teams - Lead and participate as a key finance stakeholder in cross-functional team

Managing team consisting of 9 members including Chief and Senior accountants

Maintain deep knowledge of team functions and ensure all team members are adequately trained to perform their assigned tasks effectively and efficiently

Managing daily transactions to make sure the allocation of expenses & revenue are as per the correct cost centers

Analyze current and past financial data and performance evaluations to make recommendations on profit enhancements & cost reductions

Ensure timely Financial Reporting, P&L for 12 locations in Kuwait & 8 locations in GCC.

Consistently analyze financial and operational information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports

Establishing Banking Facilities for our entire operations for Branch Working Capital Requirements

Reviewing & Managing Intercompany Reconciliation process

Implement Microsoft Dynamics from the scratch includes accounting structure, integrations & migration plan

Implementations of IFRS 16 for the rental locations as per new IFRS standards.

Actively participate in reviewing improvements to the accounting software, modules, and processes
Liaising with Internal/External auditors to produce and present quarterly and year-end financial reports

Liquidity & Cash Management for all the inward/outward flows

Manage LC (Lettering of Credit) Plus commentate with all Foreigner Suppliers to make sure shipments deliveries & payments are algin for smooth operations

Assist in the overall financial functions at the Head Office by demonstrating financial awareness according to the terms of the company contracts, company policies and the generally accepted accounting practices and principals

Forecasting and Monitor Working Capital & Cash Flow, Analyze & update on a Monthly Basis and ensure that the cash flow is adequate for the business to operate and manage adequate liquidity

Conduct profit and cost analyses

Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information

Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations

Recommend cost-reducing solutions for higher Profit Margins

Manage full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting, cash management

Review the payment requests received from divisions and verify whether the requests are as per the budgeted amounts

Participate in the preparation of quarterly management reports

Preparing Financial Statement quarterly & annually

Prepare the ratio analysis report with the KPIs and the variances between targeted and actual KPIs

Assist the Finance Manager in the strategic and operational analysis

Treasury functions, including arranging specific / General line Facilities from Local and Foreign Banks

Renewal of Bank Facilities, arranging Letter of Credit Both Local & Foreign

Arranging Letter of Guarantee (O/D, L/C, & L/G)
Review and approve payment vouchers & journal entries

Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system & policies
Recruit, train and manage assistant accountants

Liaise with the external Auditors and respond to their queries

Preparing sales invoices & the upkeep of an accurate accounts filing system

Preparing Check for the suppliers and other expenses

Debtor and Creditor reconciliations

Preparation of various reports for Finance manager

Sales Analysis for the sale department to compare their performance with budget

Preparing invoice for submitting in Bank for Letter of credit

Calculating Vessel’s Demurrage for delay at ports

Coordinating with Auditors for carrying out Audit

Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable

Monitoring Stock and Warehouses’ Movements

Participating in Annual Stock
