Position: Group Accountant-Receivable

• Proficiently managed customers RAK, Fujairah, UAQ & Sharjah Cement Factory areas.
• Looking above than 1500 customers segregated in to A, B & C classes, related to how much outstanding with respect of sales.
• Follow up of collections from the customer, entering it into the system & matching them properly well in time.
• Performing the Transaction Audit i.e. verification of sales transactions from beginning.
• Dealing with different Banks to deposit Cheques and Cash and Monthly Reconciliation with different Banks.
• Handling Petty cash & pass entries into the system against their assigned limits.
Job responsibilities: • Control over van sales accounting.
• Handling the HHT functioning i.e. Upload/ Download, reporting of receivables etc.
• Supervision of physical stock take of van salesmen, making inventory reconciliation's of the stock take.
• Participating of the weekly physical stock check of the warehouses, destruction of goods etc.
• Issuing monthly customer statement of Accounts to the salesmen and getting them approved.
• Control over personal cash accounts of the salesmen.
• Solving any queries put up by the salesmen regarding his personal or customer accounts.
• Commission calculation of DTS salesmen.
• Delivering the statement of account to all A class customers and collection of the payments
• To follow up the collections from inactive and defaulted customers
• To participate in Van Salesmen and warehouse stock take.
• Performing the Transaction Audit i.e. verification of sales transactions from beginning.
Treasury responsibilities: • Collecting cash from the customers, salesmen, delivery section.
• Passing the accounting entries for cash collected.
• Matching the cash receipts against the particular invoice.
• Depositing the money and cheques collected to the bank on daily basis.
• Custody & control over cash/ cheques receipt books & stationeries.
• Follow up of collections from the customer, entering it into the system & matching them properly well in time.
• Submit statement of accounts to customers on monthly basis.
• Co-ordinate with bill collector/ Credit controller to have balance confirmations from the customers.
• Solving any queries put up by the salesmen regarding his personal or customer accounts.
• Analysis of salesman aging reports, discussing the same with salesman/ supervisor & reporting of critical cases.
• Handling Petty cash & pass entries into the system against their assigned limits.
• Maintain a disciplined environment and handling of administrative issues.
• Any other assignments given by the management.
