- Preparing submission documents as per local authority, Dubai Municipality, Trakhee’s,
Green Building & UAE Civil Defense.
- Preparing Specification of Projects and Tender documents.
- Calculations as per ASHRAE Standard and green building regulations.
- Carryout inspections on site, as per IR & RFI.
- Verifying MCR and Pre-Qualification Certificates of all Products.
- Coordinating and attending meeting with sub-contractors and Construction Manager to
obtain clearance before starting the work to ensure smooth and efficient execution of
work.
- Follow-up Client comments on site and rectify within given time Limit.
- Reviewing Field Design Changes related to his discipline by giving the technical position
addressing any foreseen Time Impact.
- Visit to site progress of work in compliance with contract requirements, good construction
practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawing.
- Pre-Design Drawing submission to Client for any issues on MEP shafts and other spaces.
etc., to rectify.
- Heat load calculation using HAP and follows as per ASHRAE Standard and green building
regulations.
- Calculation for various Projects according to the Dubai Municipality or Trakhee’s or local
authority and Green Building regulations.
- Calculating Smoke management according to UAE Civil Defense Regulations.
- Preparing documents according to the local authority and Green Building regulations.
- Selection of Machines based on calculated Loads.
- Water Supply & Drainage Calculation as per Authority Regulations & Requirements.
- LPG Calculation as per DCD Authority Requirements.
- Attending meeting with Client to discuss regarding Project Requirement.
- Assisting senior mechanical engineer to deliver all the required documents for approval.
- Directing to draftsman for design drawings and technical issues.
- Preparing all the schedules of equipment’s according specified project for submitting to
Client.
- Making of Shop drawings as per Snags by consultant on site.
- Calculating Thermal load using HAP 4.91v.
- Preparing Equipment Schedule and selection of machines (FCU’s, AHU’s, Chillers, Pumps etc., ) on the basis of Heat Load calculations from some brands like Trane, Carrier, York, etc.
- Calculating External Static Pressure according to ASHRAE and SMACNA Standards.
- Calculating the Duct Sizing according to the CFM by using Equal Friction Method orVelocity Reduction Method.
- Calculating the Pipe Sizing for the chilled water system by ASHRAE Standard.
- Calculating the Pump Head Using the ASHRAE Standard.
- Price Comparison for all Materials of HVAC for the concern project.
- Follow up for approval of technical submittal and shop drawings with the consultant.
- Advise/calculate variations between tender and shop drawings.
- Assisting senior technical engineer to deliver all the required documents on varioussites.
- Sending inquiries and receiving of quotations for all materials/systems.
- Preparing technical and commercial comparison for all the quotations received.
- Assisting for estimation of HVAC works for Tender Department.
- Following as per shop drawing and coordinating with all engineers on site.
- Moving in polite manner with all and rectifying issues on site.
- Updating day to day report to my superior.
