• Manage a complex caseload on cardiac surgery Intensive care unit (CSICU), Cardiovascular step down unit (CVSD) and coronary care unit (CCU),
• Management and rehabilitation of patients post major heart surgeries such as Valve replacements, CABG and Heart Transplants.
• Management and rehabilitation of patients requiring invasive ventilation and tracheostomy, on medical and surgical ICU,
• Providing a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation programme,
• Provide rehabilitation of patients with neurological deficits i.e. stroke, hypoxic brain injury and neuro surgery,
• Responsible for teaching, supervision and appraisal of physiotherapy interns and students.

Senior cardiothoracic physiotherapist (Barnet & Chase

• Manage a complex caseload on Intensive care unit (ITU), High dependency unit (HDU), Respiratory care unit (RCU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), acute surgical (Abdominal, vascular ands head & neck surgery) and acute medical wards.
• Provide a comprehensive Non-invasive ventilation service,
• Manage patients requiring invasive ventilation and tracheostomy,
• Work closely with Accelerated discharge team, neurology team, orthopaedic team and rehabilitation team,
• Responsible for teaching, supervision and appraisal of junior physiotherapist and physiotherapy assistant.

Rotational physiotherapist (Barnet & Chase Farm NHS Trust)
• Completed 4 Monthly rotations in:
o Neurology (including stroke unit),
o Elderly and medical rehabilitation (including acute medical wards and coronary care unit),
o Cardio-respiratory and surgery (including Intensive care unit (ITU), High dependency unit (HDU) and surgical wards (including abdominal, vascular and amputee surgery),
o Orthopaedics (Trauma and elective surgery).

• Assessment and management of General Practioner (GP) and consultant referred patients, with acute and chronic conditions,
• Management of soft tissue trauma, sporting injuries, postural and repetitive injuries,
• Leading group exercise classes i.e. post knee replacement classes, post anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction classes etc.
