◦ Worked as an Outbound associate in Canada’s only Amazon Robotics (AR) Fulfillment
center in the Back Half Days and Night Shifts. Dealt with live customer orders from
Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. Employees were divided in different parts of the ‘customer
order process’ depending on attendance and business need.
◦ Selected to try a new Quality Assurance role that was implemented across all AR facilities
in North America. The role involved physically sweeping all Outbound conveyor locations
for dwelling/missing packages and inventory to ensure customer satisfaction
(physical- virtual match). The results confirmed that there was a business need for such a
Process, therefore I was asked by Leadership to train associates from other shifts as well.
◦ Selected to lead an annual Quality Assurance project called ‘Woven Band’ for newly
assigned robots with new and additional inventory.
◦ Selected for Quality Assurance Product Testing for items that were order as ‘Single Piece’
Products were supposed to undergo a Frustration/Stress test to see if they were safe
to be placed on the conveyor without packing it in Amazon boxes. I was also selected to
train associates for this process.
◦ Internal Auditing of packages and containers before being loaded into departing trailers.
Business need had arisen due to safety call-outs by Canada’s primary postal operator.
◦ Sweeping all outbound locations for inventory that was sellable and got them stowed
before end of shift (EOS)
◦ Ensuring Area Readiness before start of shift (SOS) to ensure smooth operations.
◦ For some shifts having low attendance, assisted in allocating and training labor around
the building.
◦ Acted as ‘Process Guide’ for Manuel and Automated Flat Sorter at last step of customer
order - Ship Dock. This role involved replenishment and troubleshoot ticketing as well.
