The Developing and Rehabilitation Assistance to Schools and Teachers Improvement (D-RASATI) Project is a USAID funded project that aims at improving the status of Education in the public sector in Lebanon. My job as an Activity Coordinator involves:
- Providing assistance for the development of a National Action Plan for the integration of technology into the public education sector
- Conducting a literature review on the topics of “Integration of technology into schools” and “Professional Development in the Education Sector”
- Conducting a Job Analysis for the different positions at the Ministry of Education for the purpose of understanding the Organizational Structure
- Observing and assessing training workshops conducted by public sector trainers Planning training workshops for 64 public sector trainers on the use of generic and subject specific technology in the classroom
- Coordinating training specific matters between consultants and members of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education
- Performing administrative tasks and providing back office support
Assisted in the planning of 44 training workshops for public school teachers on the use of laboratory equipment, in 7 regions around Lebanon, as part of the D-RASATI Project.
Assisted in the coordination of the project with the several parties involved, including consultants, school principals and members from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education
Provided assistance to trainers and public school teachers during training workshops.
Handled logistics related matters during training workshops
Conducted interviews with Lebanese women who reached high level positions throughout
their career.
Conducted a two months training at Phoenicia Hotel in the Human Resources Department,
rotating between the Recruitment and Personnel Departments
