General contracting company working on engineering, procurement, construction, and testing and commissioning works for various types of buildings.
Basic duties include:
Office work:
Modify and update designs based on site situation and requirements.
Produce shop drawings and as-built drawings for approval.
Prepare all the documentations and format related to shop drawings and construction conditions.
Prepare technical and financial proposals for tenders and participate in tender opening sessions.
Site work:
Supervise, inspect, and follow up the construction works on site.
Coordinate with structural, mechanical and electrical engineers to incorporate different systems for the best application on site.
Basic duties include:
Design:
▪ Gather and collect design requirements for ongoing constructions.
▪ Prepare architectural designs based on design requirements.
▪ Submit and present architectural design proposals to management and clients for
review and approval.
▪ Review design requirements and recommend best design options for the project.
▪ Modify and update designs based on site situation and requirements.
▪ Generate interior designs (walls, floors, ceiling) for missing rooms and update
existing interior designs according to management and client comments, and as
per site condition.
▪ Assign and prepare finishing materials schedule for each room according to
interior design and as per catalogue and samples.
▪ Assign and prepare sanitary fittings and accessories schedule for wet areas
according to interior design and as per catalogue and technical specifications.
▪ Assign and prepare doors types and specifications schedule for each room
according to interior design and as per catalogue and technical requirements.
Site work:
▪ Supervise and follow up the construction works on site.
▪ Review shop drawings for approval.
▪ Support the contractor and sub-contractors with missing design information and
solve site issues.
▪ Review material sample submittal and data sheet for approval.
▪ Coordinate with structural, mechanical and electrical engineers to incorporate
different systems for the best application on site.
▪ Prepare quantities for wet areas, doors, curtain walls, floor and wall finishes.
▪ Reply to formal letters and internal memos.
▪ Prepare weekly reports for site progress.
Meetings:
▪ Participate in team meetings to coordinate design options and ideas.
▪ Attend suppliers and sub-contractors introductory and technical presentations.
▪ Attend and participate in technical meetings and presentations with consultant
construction team.
▪ Attend and participate in meetings and site tours with client, contractor and subcontractors.
Quality control:
▪ Visit supplier’s factory, stores and show rooms for data collection to insure the
best quality and selection.
Drafting:
▪ Use CAD tool effectively to draft design drawings, and detailed drawings
including 3D models.
▪ Use manual drawing skills for shop drawings review and modifications.
Document control:
▪ Maintain all the documentations related to architectural designs and construction
conditions.
▪ Coordinate filling, storage and retrieval of both manual and electronic drawings.
Basic duties include:
▪ Modify and update architectural designs based on engineer and client comments
and recommend best design options.
▪ Review and study project requirements and site analysis.
▪ Generate furniture and interior design drawings 2D and 3D.
▪ Prepare and review project logo and formal paper’s designs for approval.
▪ Review and study river bus exterior and interior design and seating layout as per
requirements.
▪ Coordinate with structural and MEP systems for detailed design drawings.
▪ Supervise and follow up the construction works on site.
