oversee the planning, implementation, and supervision of programs. responsible for liaising with relevant donors, partners, and governmental bodies. This includes developing plans, proposals, reporting, follow-up, and monitoring and evaluation. Additionally, the Program Officer will play a crucial role in developing and nurturing partnerships.
Managing overall projects implementation and ensuring the quality of plan activities implementations.
Managing all project staff and field officers.
Developing TOR for consultancy include budgets method of work.
Designing and managing project M&E plans to be implemented by Practical Action and local partners.
Complying with all reports includes donor, also editing and improving the quality of internal project reports.
Producing documents that promote best practice and lessons learned across the organisation and with other development stakeholders
Producing monthly quarterly plan and ensure implementation of activities.
Ensuring effective means of each project month budget monitoring.
Participating in M&E mission, training the Enumerator Supervisor team and focus group discussion team
Ensuring that relevant staff are aware of donors’ rules and regulation.
Ensure that the operational activities are executed are in line with the donor regulations.
Monitoring all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output
Ensuring implementing partners’ compliance to PA and donor regulations as well as project implementation plan and budget
Liaising with partners to ensuring that the consortium activities are implemented as planned and stick to SHF implementation standers and systems.
Overseeing the project budget and insuring that narrative and financial report are submitted on time.
Coordinating the monthly meetings with consortium partners discussing the progress, success and challenges, and plan for next month
Monitoring, supervising and supporting program implementation, financial performance, and compliance with donor and organizational policies and procedures;
Conducting monthly filed visit to ensuring that activities are implemented as planned.
participating in partnership assessments conducted for the three partners.
Contributing in reviewing 2016-2017 partnership agreements for the three partners.
Participating in developing new annual agreements for the three partners for the period from April 2017 to March 2018. (Activities + budget+ annual plan/forecast)
Assisting in organization review meeting
Main Responsibilities
• To monitor, supervise and support program implementation, financial performance, and compliance with donor and organizational policies and procedures; and submit reports as necessary
• To monitor preparation and delivery of budgets in accordance with agreed formats, to budget ceilings and to an agreed timetable
• To lead action planning for SORD and to participate in developing strategic plans of SORD.
• To Make recommendations for program amendments or for changes in management or technical support strategies, as well as for managing the relationship donors
• Contribute to the programs staff capacity building plan in collaboration with SORD Executive Director And SORD Human Resource Manager
.
Main roles including
• Setting up SORD`s office for SORD in Kassala, main responsibilities include introducing the organization to the potential donors, sister organization, and governmental institutions namely HAC and Ministry of Education..
• Renting the premise and equip the new office with the necessary furniture and equipments
• Organize series of meeting with community leaders to introduce the literacy project, to ensure commitment and enhance ownership.
• Monitoring and supervision of the implementation of the literacy projects and making sure that implementation take place according to project action plans.
• Monitor the literacy facilitators’ performance using different monitoring tools such as attendance sheets, and monthly exams results.
• Preparing monthly reports both narrative and financial as well as compiling projects quarterly, biannual and annual reports.
• Undertake monthly refreshment training for the literacy facilitators’ teaching and help them in running the literacy classes.
• Organizing and coordinating meetings, forums, workshops, facilitating meeting writing reports
• Main roles include
• Undertake monitoring activities including writing reports, documentation, communication, and organizing coordinating meetings
• The day to day management of the office activities, assisting executive committee members in their planning and running of executive committee activities such as organizing meetings, liaising with the authority concerned with NGOs and government officials.
• Performing translation tasks and assisting the Programme Officer in preparing the action plans of the new in project proposals.
• Undertake the coordination of all events organized by the FAS including workshops, seminars, meetings, etc.

• Ensure proper coordination between literacy project implemented in different parts of the country namely rive Nile, Gadaref, Khartoum, and North Kurdofan
Main responsibilities include
• Collecting data and information from projects reports and other sources
• Create a filing system that could help in circulation and dissemination of the information to the concerned bodies.
• Main tasks include
• Organizing workshops and meetings with women beneficiaries
• Organize women beneficiaries in groups such as health group, credit groups, etc
• Distribution of seeds and small agricultural tools for rural women.
• Select and provide small loans to support women off farm income generating activities in rural areas
