• Providing one-on-one job search assistance to IRC clients
• Working with IRC clients to maintain up-to-date resumes and cover letters as needed, both of which require extensive drafting and editing skills
• Assisting clients as they navigate the job market in San Diego by explaining the fundamentals of working in the U.S., identifying potential job leads and guiding clients throughout the process from submitting applications to their interview.
• Providing assistance with administrative or research tasks as needed.
• Extensive communication with clients both in-person and over the phone.
• Evaluating clients’ requests and directing them to relevant IRC services or staff.
• Updating the job leads database & JTAL Google volunteer site to ensure all files are up-to-date.
• Providing general administrative and logistical support to CFO staff.
