- Prepare budgets & financial forecasts, and analyze financial trends and performance.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and validate journal entries, and maintain a high level of GL accuracy.
- Conduct financial audits by examining and verifying financial transactions, reports, records, and procedures.
- Analyze financial statements and accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and standards.
- Maintaining strong relationships with bank relationship managers, ensuring clear communication and timely information exchange for Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BGs), investments, and financing for mega projects.
- Handling income tax & sales tax (VAT) returns and related quarterly and monthly accounting protocols for regulatory filings.
- Hand-on knowledge of ERP and extraction of reports for tax purposes.
- Responsible for party-wise detail working on Fixed Assets, work in process and cost of sale, and costing of imports.
- Preparation of draft quarterly financial statements for management.
- Assess internal controls and risk management practices to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement.
- Develop financial templates of companies for performance forecasts and projections.
- Provides fundamental analysis of companies in the US equity market.
- Testing the product and coming up with product enhancements.
- Training the Data entry specialist and reviewing the work of the Data Analyst.
- Providing feedback to the Junior Data Analyst to enhance the data accuracy.
- Perform internal audits to make sure accurate and complete data is published.
- Analyze the financial data (Income statement, cash flows, financial position, and performance measures like financial ratios, Capital Adequacy, and debt analysis).
- Keeps up to date with industry trends and reporting standards i.e. IFRS, US-GAAP.
- Responsible for processing and maintaining analysis and information of assigned financial sectors in an accurate manner.
- Ensures that feedback and training are provided to newer colleagues and peers.
- Perform internal audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data set.
