modification and upgrade projects for Greater Ekofisk Area - Eldfisk and
Ekofisk fields (operated by ConocoPhillips in the North Sea) according to
ConocoPhillips and Norsok standards.

• Coordination and checking the document.
• Preparation of Material Take-Off for field instruments and control
systems.
• Preparation of cabling documents such as cable schedules,
interconnection diagrams, and wiring diagrams.

planning dept. Worked on feasibility reports, conceptual & FEED studies,
and detailed engineering projects.

Worked in the Service Department, responsibilities included working as a
resident DCS Engineer for maintenance of DCS of GASCO which is one the
largest DCS installation of ABB System in UAE. Did many service visits and
completed many service projects for major clients which were ADMA,
GASCO and TAKREER.
Responsibilities:
• DCS system Hardware design for Refinery and gas plant.
• Preparation of Technical/Commercial Proposals for ABB DCS.
• Performed in-house system installation, software engineering, loops
testing, hardware redundancy (Network, CPU, Power Supply, I/O bus,
etc.) test infi90.
• Performed FAT for ABB Infi90/Symphony/Harmony DCS.
• SAT and Commissioning of ABB Infi90/Symphony/Harmony DCS.
• Troubleshooting DCS system.

Responsibilities included leading a team of engineers for instrumentation
detailed engineering of the Jubail Chevron Phillips Polyethylene project in
KSA. Worked on FEED and detailed Engineering of oil and gas projects.
Projects included the preparation of detailed engineering documents for
Foundation Fieldbus instrumentation and control systems.
Responsibilities:
• Led a team of engineers for size calculations and selection of flow
meters for the Japan Gas Company (JGC) with Jubail Chevron Phillips
(JCP) for a project in Saudi Arabia.
• Lead Engineer for an instrumentation & Control FEED design for
Gurguri Gas Field & Plant.
• Lead Engineer for Bosicor Oil Refinery expansion and revamp project.
• Supported the Proposal Department for the bidding process of several
projects.

Responsibilities included daily maintenance of ABB/Infi90 & Symphony
based DCS for the Urea Plant.
Responsibilities:
• Inventory management for the DCS spare parts.
• On-call maintenance on weekends and outside normal working hours

Responsibilities included taking care of Electrical, Instrumentation and
Automation design and construction, installation and startup of a new
textile composite unit.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all electrical, Instrumentation, and automation design
and construction activities for the installation and startup of a new
composite textile unit.
• Scope of work includes HT, LT panel design review, sizing and selection
of main cables for motors, electrical equipment transformers, air circuit
breakers etc. Coordination for all the procurement of instrument and
electrical equipment which included variable speed drives, air
compressors, gas and diesel generators.

• Engineering and configuration Services for Natural gas desulphurization
unit for FFBL fertilizer plant.
◦ Installation & Startup of new infi-90 hardware (one node in new cabinet)
to existing plant DCS system.
◦ Creation of logic for control and monitoring of this new unit.
◦ Addition of new graphics, trends, and database elements in the existing
console configuration.

Chemical, Oil & Gas, and Refinery.
