Summary : The projects are residential complexes with its full infrastructure works (Sewege, Storm, MV,
LV, Irrigation, Street Lighting, Telecommunication, Roads …) around the kingdom (for ministry of
housing), with over ( + 900 ) Milion budget cost.
my roles are:
- Planning manager deputy and represent him during his absence, and I am reporting to him.
- Chief of planning for the northern province projects ( 6 Projects ) as a Member of core planning
team in the head office - Riyadh.
- Prepare and update projects schedules based on the contract by planning tools (Primavera P6) in
coordination with PM’s, and submit it to the consulants.
- Participating in preparing the annual budget of the company (preparing the expected cash-in &
cash-out for the projects in coordination with cost control department.
- Prepare and submit (cash-flow, man-hours & equipments) histograms.
- Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.
- Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.
- Prepares and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress, and
identify points of weakness and establishes means and methods for recovery.
- Supervising the work of the planners in the sites.
- Bi-monthly report reflecting work progress summary in all projects, contains full data about
execution status (Histograms, layouts, quantities, Performance charts, percentage of complete)
- Regular visits to each site to meet the PM’s for more details and check whether we are running
on our plan or we need to make any recovery for it.
- Participating in performing the EOT claims in coordination with the contracts department.
- Preparing the reports for GM in his meetings with client and attending some of it as needed.
- Daily follow-up for the work-flow of the projects by our on-line follow-up system.
- Daily follow-up for all the obstacles may happen in the projects, and taking quick action to solve
it in coordination with the other departments in the head-office.
- Daily meetings with the related engineers in other departments (engineering, procurement…) to
follow -up and update the current status of the projects.
Summary : The project consist of 3 phases of (292) Villas, with about ( + 200 ) Milion budget cost.
my job was:
- Submitting an estimation of the time schedule for all phases, assigned with resources and its cost
by (P6).
- Determining the optimal sequence of activities in the site.
- Ensuring that the activities are completed within set deadlines and on budget, especially the
critical one.
- Following-up the matter of cost control, observing the cost of the various activities and
comparing it with the budget cost and giving alarms about it if needed.
- Providing the management with the required manpower for each stage.
- Regular meetings with site engineers to redetermine our plan, sometimes daily meetings.
- Weekly meetings with R.C.M and site managers to review the stage goals and may be update it
depending on the availability of resources.
- Periodic meetings with C.E.O to brief him the outlines ofour goals for the next stage.
- Develop and update the time schedule and resources histogram and cash flow on monthly basis
by (P6).
- Submitting one week look ahead showing our Plan for the next week on weekly basis.
- Regular update to the productivity norm of the company depending on continuous observation of
the activities and the labors teams.
- Supervising the matter of payment certificates of man-power suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Supervising the work of my provided team (planners, inspectors…) and evaluate their
performance to the head Office.
- Collaborating with site managers, surveyors, engineers, site worker and other professionals.
- Supervising the work-flow at all stages and providing solutions to problems.
Summary : The projects were 2 Athletic Stadium (With huge Service Building, Sports Hall, Swimming
Pool, playing Grounds with seating arena, Etc … ), with about ( + 150 ) Milion budget cost.
My Job Was in the head office:
- Submitting the time schedule to the owner (General Presidency for Youth Welfare) assigned with
resources and cost.
- Submitting the material schedule and drawings schedule related to the time schedule.
- Coordination with engineering department and procurement department to ensure submitting the
drawings and materials on its date.
- Following-up the work-flow by periodic visits to the site.
- Regular meeting with the site managers to review the achievement during the past period and to
discuss the difficulties.
- Regular meeting with the owner representative to show the plan for the next stage and listening
to any required changes in the site.
- Monthly updating to the time schedule and its resources.
- Providing the management with the required manpower for each stage.
Summary : Our projects were residential buildings, first I was execution engineer, later on my job became
execution and planning Director.
My responsibilities when I was execution engineer:
- Checking and supevising the construction activities from A to Z (checking the applicability of the
drawings, formwork, reinforcing, shuttering, casting concrete, etc …) and submitting the reports
about it to the manager.
- Checking and supevising the finishing activities also from A to Z (block work, plastering, tiles
work, painting, doors, windows, decorative elements, etc…), and also submitting the reports
about it to the manager.
- Attending all meetings between the manager and the owner to keep aware of all new changes or
requirements.
- Daily productivity report to the manager showing the activities done and going on.
- Weekly report to the manager showing the summary of achievement during the week and the
goals next week.
My responsibilities when I became chief of execution and planning:
- Submitting the time schedule for the various projects .
- Daily visits to the projects to supervise the work-flow and to see the problems or difficulties.
- Supervising the performance of site engineers and evaluate their performance and submit it to the
manager.
- Weekly meetings with site engineers to put the the next goals and hear their obstacles and
problems.
- Providing the management with the required manpower for the next stage.
- Hold a meetings with subcontractors to brief them our requirements and our plan .

Summary : The project was big tourist complex, about 10000 square meters…
Consists of wedding hall (steel structure), cafe (concrete building), children's playground (steel structure)
and management building (concrete building).
My responsibilities were:
- Reading the full drawings and explain it to the subcontractors.
- Checking and supervising all construction activities from A to Z (formwork, reinforcing,
shuttering, casting concrete, etc …)
