- Receiving a brief, and an outline of footage and/or a shot list, script, or screenplay.
- Inputting uncut rushes and sound, and synchronizing and storing them into files on the computer.
- Assembling all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer.
- Reordering and tweaking the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.
- Cut shot sequences to different angles at specific points in scenes, making each individual cut as fluid and seamless as possible
- Study scripts to become familiar with production concepts and requirements.
- Edit films and videotapes to insert music, dialogue, and sound effects, to arrange films into sequences, and to correct errors, using editing equipment.
- Select and combine the most effective shots of each scene in order to form a logical and smoothly running story
- Mark frames where a particular shot or piece of sound is to begin or end.
- Determine the specific audio and visual effects and music necessary to complete films.
- Provide privet education course to the students.
- Manage the Convoy Administrators leave schedule ensuring manning at all locations to allow for the smooth running the operation.
- Collate all the Finance Convoy Reports from the Convoy Administrators on a weekly basis and forward to Finance.
- Attend Weekly meeting with the Operations Manager - Convoy Planning to discuss administration of the convoy.
- To have a full understanding of the Convoy Administrators tasks as detailed below, writing and updating process and procedures in line with requirements.
- Have a full understanding of Convoy Routes and what constitutes a convoy and the allocation of resources to each convoy by team allocation/guard numbers and threat level .
- Other tasks as allocated from time to time by the Operations Manager Convoy Planning
- Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers.
- Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and budget departments.
- Plan budgets and authorize payments and merchandise returns.
- Formulate pricing policies for merchandise, according to profitability requirements.
- Establish credit policies and operating procedures.
- Estimate consumer demand and determine the types and amounts of goods to be sold.
- Keep records of purchases, sales, and requisitions.
- Plan and coordinate advertising campaigns and sales promotions, and prepare merchandise displays and advertising copy.
