Develop trade Marketing activities and rolls out marketing calendar on the category, brand, channel or store basis to ensure it is supported with the proper selling tools.
My accountabilities:

Strategic Planning: Assists the Marketing Director and the key accounts team in planning/ reviewing annual promotion calendars and channel-specific activities aimed at achieving the required growth. Keeps abreast of shopper insights, trade marketing and advertising activities and develops an analytical understanding of key drivers within the diferent channels to recommend/ tailor high impact marketing initiatives. Calendar: Builds on national promotional calendar and works with KAMs to translate into account specific initiatives and rolls out/ implements trade marketing calendar including national promotions, product launches…etc. according to the approved fact sheets to market share. Competitors: Monitors new package launches, evaluates the brand position in the market regarding package, pricing, competitiveness and highlights activities taking place to defend channels against attack by competitors. Proposes innovative solutions to and works with external suppliers to source value added premiums and creative ideas for possible use in promotional ofers. Develop a critical path for each trade marketing initiative and coordinates activities with the other functions e.g. warehousing, purchasing to acquire the needed material and acts as a focal point to manage timely launches. Constantly updates the sales and marketing department on upcoming activities to ensure functional alignment. Develops/ maintains reliable tools to track activities and spend within co-op buckets in line with the approved fact sheets. Conducts field visits, Monitors the quality of launched activities and feedbacks his managers to establish the required market presence. Merchandizing: Works with PI to identify/ Source trade marketing equipment including Gondola units, LRB units, pallets…etc. through external companies suitable for merchandizing use. People Management: Sets targets/ budgets for the department, manage activities according to priorities, develop/coaches subordinates, appraises their performance and motivates them to meet business objectives.
