United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Libya Operation, Tunis based.
- Undertake missions to Tripoli, Libya to conduct face to face resettlement interviews
- Conduct remote resettlement interviews in coordination with resettlement staff based in Tripoli.
- Conduct RSD/RST merged interviews as well as resettlement interviews.
- Maintain accurate processing statistics and provide statistical reports on a regular basis.
- Deliver training and couching for RST caseworkers and interpreters.
- Create comprehensive SOPs for resettlement unit in Libya Operation. SOPs included descriptive instructions and processes of resettlement operation, including but not limited to resettlement processing; case identification, referral mechanisms, resettlement interview process screening, interview process including remote interviews, as well as the preparation of the RRF.
- Keep systematic, accurate records of all cases considered including ensuring ensuring compliance with proGres v4 data entry requirement amd filing of all documents and correspondence in physical files.
- Conduct Best Interest Assessment for children.
- Assist in preventing and identifying fraud in individual case-processing through oversight, advice and guidance to UNHCR staff, partners and persons of concern.
- Monitor individual case processing trends and in compiling and analysing statistics related to individual case processing.
- Deliver proper counselling for refugees and ensure addressing refugees concerns.
- Assess dependency and vulnerability of the cases interviewed. Request for links if assessed.
- Assist in developing and maintaining processes to ensure that persons of concern have accurate information on the UNHCR individual case-processing policies and procedures.
- Conduct RSD interviews for Asylum seekers from different nationalities, including but not limited to; Eritrean, Ethiopian, Sudanese, Somali, Iraqi and Yemeni asylum seekers.
- Recommend decision on the RSD assessments.
- Provide counselling and ensure that refugees are well informed about RSD process.
- Interview vulnerable and traumatized asylum seekers.
- Follow up on the interviewed cases until the notification of decision is finalized.
- Flag urgent cases, and ensure that they are prioritized.
- Ensure proper referral mechanism is implemented, especially for vulnerable cases.
- Conduct RSD/RST interviews according to the merged procedures established in BO Amman to deal with Syrian case load.
▪ Conduct Resettlement surge interviews.
▪ Conduct proper resettlement counselling for refugees and ensure addressing refugees concerns, as per Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs).
▪ Prepare RRF (Resettlement Registration Form) according to UNHCR procedures for each interview conducted
▪ Submit finalized Resettlement Registration forms, and follow up with reviewers in Amman and MENA office.
▪ Ensure proper referral mechanism is placed by referring cases and highlighting refugees’ vulnerabilities.
▪ Maintain ownership of the file and follow up on the actions taken.
▪ Assess dependency and vulnerability of the cases interviewed. Request for links if assessed.
▪ Participate in emergency registration and protection at the berm located in Northern East of Jordan; two settlements; Rouqban and Hadalat.
As a member of the Emergency Response Team, participated in a two months emergency mission to Uganda as a response to the South Sudanese influx.
duties and responsibilities included;
- Support the emergency response in West Nile Uganda by managing the influx situation and relocation to settlements
▪ Ensure protection monitoring an effective response of the reception, transit facilities and settlements hosting refugees
▪ Coordinate response with stakeholders and partners involved in the emergency response.
- Monitor border points at the north of Uganda.
▪ Responsible for assessing protection needs in Zaatari Camp and Rabaa Al Sarhan Transit Centre.
▪ Conduct protection monitoring inside Zaatari camp; by visiting refugees, interviewing them, and assessing their protection needs.
▪ Act as a case manager in Zaatari Camp and Rabaa Al Sarhan T.C; by receiving referrals from registration and other units.
▪ Conduct interviews with newly arrived refugees, and collect country of origins information (COI).
▪ Cover three shifts in Rabaa Al Sarhan T.C in order to assess newly arrived refugees for 24/7.
▪ Conduct interviews with refugees who are interested in spontaneous return to Syria in addition to verifying the reasons behind their wish to return.
▪ Prepare daily reports of the cases interviewed and assessed, in addition to protection monitoring and spontaneous return reports.
▪ Ensure referrals are sent according to the referral mechanism to concerned units (CS, CP, SGBV) in order to assure that refugees enjoy maximum protection.
▪ Follow up on the protection cases, and guarantee that needed actions were taken.
• Act as a liaison between the Marketing Department and RSCN'sstakeholders. Work with the in-house
designers to produce materials of visual impact and within the brand guidelines.
• Creating marketing plans for each of RSCN sites and products, in line with strategy, targets and budget.
• Communicating with target audiences and manage customer relationships.
• Preparing and executing innovative and cost-effective seasonal campaigns and promotions (For the eco tourism activities and the handicrafts)
• Conducting quantitative and qualitative market research and surveys.
• Carrying out post evaluation analysis for the communication campaigns in order to study behaviors and assess if objectives had been met.
• Coordinate, regulate, and organize the flow of work for all of the team members.

-Establishing new branches throughout Jordan (Madaba, Ajloun, Aqaba and Amman) targeting vulnerable youth and children.
-Sustain work of the branches by creating a committees of volunteers, for each branch. Providing a capacity building, project management training, and creating a sustainable flexible structure for youth volunteers leaders to run programs targeting vulnerable youth.
