Zishan Khan

• Responsible for sales of Sesame, Beans and Pulses from Africa (Ethiopia and Sudan) to Asian market (with focus on China, India and Pakistan)
• Executing and managing break-bulk, bulk and containerized shipments for Black sea / Indian sub-continent / red sea
• Performing the originator/Sourcing/procurement role from India for Wheat, Rice, Maize and Sugar from grass root level for Middle East and North/North East African Market
• Provide trade support to team in delivery (local procurement and logistics arrangement) of Wheat, Corn, Sugar and Rice from India and Wheat from Black Sea to destinations in Middle-East and North East Africa in bulk vessels and in containers
• Building communication measures with group associate offices including Ukraine, China, Ethiopia and Dubai for day to day trading and commercial activities, market analysis, demand and supply dimensions and any other matter of interest
• Full back end support to main stream traders and trade from origination to finishing point including local procurement, inland transportation, load port arrangements, destination streamlining and banking to execute the trade
• Issuance and scrutiny of sales & purchase contract in compliance with the trade confirmation and Presentation of documents and negotiations with buyers/banks
• Active involvement at all stages of trade from advance payment, CAD and/or LC opening up to documents release and completion of cargo clearance / discharge
• Maintaining MIS to evaluate, strengthen and support executive decision in order to materialize the trade securing company’s qualitative and quantitative interest
• Tracking Wheat, Rice, Corn and Sugar prices on major future trading exchange and at Major Spot markets
• Participate / attend the trade shows, exhibitions around the globe etc.

• Coordinate with buyers/suppliers, get the daily prices and market information.
• Offer the market information, prices to buyers, achieve the targeted sales revenue.
• Communicate, send offers, negotiate and finalize the deal, prepare the sales / purchase contracts.
• Develop new buyers and suppliers, visit them, send periodical reports, and build the product information.
• Participate / attend the trade shows, exhibitions around the globe etc.

• Client Management, Relationship Management,
• Procurement target achievements, Season Planning, Credit Risk Management, Cash and Working Capital Management.
• Market & Competitor Intelligence.
• Monitoring the buyer and supplier contract (Local and International) and following up with the buyer for ensuring timely payment after collecting signed contract.
• Procurement and COSTING of different commodities.
• Vendor development and generating commercial MIS. Systems and risk procedures implementation
• Complete logistics control and management. (Ocean freight / Vessel Schedule)

• Prepare Packing list & Invoice, manage all Export documents. (GSP, Insurance, Custom document etc.)
• Coordinating with Export department as per Export Shipment requirement
• Inspecting the quality of the cargo as per buyer requirement
• Sourcing the raw material and finished good as per buyer requirement
• Handling the overseas buyer - USA, UK.
• Providing all support our buyers as well as our supplier as required
• Follow up with raw material supplier to processing factory up to buyer end
