In my capacity as assistant operations manager I assist with the daily management of operations this including coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth running of the business.
I assist with the implementation of new policies and procedures to improve operations.
Maintain records of all business activities, including financial records, inventory, and customer data by using a systematic approach to ensure that all the data and information is easily accessible.
I assist the operations manager to develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity and
collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve any issues or concerns.
It is often my duty to respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner and assist with the management of vendor, including negotiating contracts and managing delivery schedules
Provide support to the operations manager as needed
Attend to inbound and outbound calls and made reservations. Daily upkeep and attendance of all our online marketing potholes such as bookin.com, nightsbridge and trivago to name a few.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
Develop new promotional tools, sell products, and create customer profiles.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints and action them in a timely manner.
My duties as a maintenance supervisor in the hospitality industry included maintenance of the hotel building and ensure that it contributes to a better hotel environment
Scheduled daily walk throughs and inspections all the emergency tools on a regular basis and ensure they are working fine
Spot the areas of improvement and take measures to improve those areas by means of daily and weekly maintenance checks
Schedule and coordinate all renovations in such a way that it does not affect the hotel/ apartment operations and does not cause any info to the guests.
Troubleshoot the issues and act on the complaints on a timely basis by taking a more proactive approach rather than reactive.
Designate task to the other members of the team and ensure these task are carried out in a timely manner.
Ensure all the technicians and janitors are doing their job properly in compliance with the HOA or hotels rules and regulations
Prepare the necessary reports and ensure that the strict adherence to the budget is being followed.
