Senior Manager Digital and Analytics at PWC
  • United Arab Emirates - Dubai
  • My current job since May 2016

Digital Data Enablement Platform

Responsible for delivery of a suite of dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI technology for the firm to replace the current legacy solutions in place and provide actionable data insights to the organization’s leadership team. Key objectives were to automate manual processes, streamline metrics across our organization, provide enhanced visualizations for metric consumption and free up resource capacity to focus on data analysis instead of number crunching. My stakeholders for this project were the Middle East board of PWC.

o Microsoft Azure Cloud Migration

Responsible for leading PWC’s onboarding to the Azure cloud. Working closely with Microsoft and internal PWC departments to build use case, get stakeholder buy in and implement. This was a challenging project as the resources working on the project were new to cloud technology hence my role was both project managing the onboarding and playing a hands on role throughout the onboarding bringing resources up to speed on the technology. My stakeholders for this project were the middle east board of PWC.

o Client Data Analytics Collaboration Platform

Led the implementation of an in-house platform developed for clients to help enhance
the user experience in the following areas:
Data - automates at scale the way we ingest and handle client, firm and third-party data;
Technology - provides a ready workbench, including applications we use every day (PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL Server, Visual Studio etc) and next-gen technologies, like artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotic process automation;
People - connects our people through collaborative digital workspaces; and Insights - enables our teams to deliver increased value and insights to our clients.

o Emerging Technologies Lab Program Management

I am the program manager for the Middle East emerging technologies lab which is currently in the process of being set up. This is the first emerging technologies lab in the region for PWC. The labs will include Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics Process Automation, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Internet of Things. My role is recruiting talent for the labs, presenting the plans to leadership, engaging with global teams to bring in best practices from other regions, organizing the hardware/software kits, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
