This is a leadership role in SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) with primary accountability to build a PMO organization as well as to manage the business account relationship with Human Resource function.
• PMO & Governance: Setup up Quality Stage gate procedures. Established standardized templates for project deliverables based on ASAP & PMI standards to ensure uniformity and consistency in applying project management methodology. Audited projects documentation and ensured processes and methodology are followed. Collated and developed IT Projects Portfolio dashboards for management reporting. Led initiatives including Business Process Modeling, Solution Documentation, Change Request, Incident & Problem Management, Test Management etc. Championed the adoption of BPMN 2.0 as a process modelling notation
• Human Resources stream: Led the transformation of HR through implementation of cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors solution. Formulated strategy for on-premise vs on-cloud implementation scenarios. Coached and mentored resources for in-house capability development. Managed the SAP HR applications support function ensuring that production incidents and change requests are resolved within established Service Level Agreements.
• Projects Management: Managed the delivery of projects including ERP upgrade, implementation of E-Recruitment, Travel Management, Integrated Access & Attendance (with turnstiles), Overseas Payroll (9 countries), Payroll Data Medium Exchange (DME) with encryption, ensuring customer satisfaction, improving business processes and partnered with business to ensure sound financial analysis, prioritization and investment decisions were made for projects
• Resource Management: Coached & Mentored consultants in the areas of SAP HCM, Success Factors and SAP Projects & Portfolio Management to ensure accurate project assessments, resource estimation, proposal and SOW generation and end-to-end execution of projects. Built a motivated and high performing team and provided career planning to team members through individual development plans. Maintained capacity vs demand plans.
• Customer Relationship: Cultivated and built successful customer relationships while interfacing across all levels of organization from senior management to front line SAP users
This role brought responsibility of Applications Management at Mowasalat. Engaging with business departments for requirements gathering, gap-fit analysis, solutions design, documentation, UAT, providing expert level support, trainings & workshops to build first level support resources as well as providing business process advice based on industry best practices
