Working as Senior Engineer in IT/Telecom division of The Consultant and following are the major responsibilities.
Responsible for managing the company's SME clients at all support levels to avoid any kind of SLA violations.
Responsible for market research and analysis to propose solutions to fill the integration gap between telecom services and IT BPM solutions.
Working knowledge in Networks which includes Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Routing protocols (RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF).
Worked on Internetworking protocols and technologies like LAN/WAN, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, DNS, VLAN, STP.
Hands on working experience in virtualized environments like Hyper-V/Azure.
Providing technical and training support to existing customers and Inhouse team.
Involve in business developments related activities like preparing technical proposals to participate in solution bid.
Worked on Microsoft cloud SharePoint based solution to record telecom and optical fiber related network issues and escalate to available technician close to fault location.
Salient features of my work are
Developing project plans with forecasts, level of effort estimates and resource assignments, creating risk mitigation plans while adhering to PMI project management methodologies.
Worked closely with PMO to deliver projects in time and coordinated with vendors and procurement to buy and procure project related equipment.
Enterprise content management and departmental site on SharePoint for contracts & vendor department. Also, done some customization according to the routine tasks and business scenarios.
Worked and collaborated with Customers (e.g., Sales, NCR Services, Global Operations, HR, Finance, etc.) to ensure program/projects deliver solutions that meet or exceed time, quality, cost and benefit expectations.
Oversee, maintenance, service and quality check of telecom equipment and systems before dispatching to project team for installation and configuration.
Administration of different data center activities including SharePoint/SQL servers’ health check and maintenance.
Worked in Enterprise Content Management system called SharePoint and perform routine tasks including Installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading and managing a SharePoint Server Farm.
Worked at Radio Frequency Planning & Optimization Department for the Telenor Pakistan Project.
Salient features of my work are:
•Used GSM, UMTS and LTE network architecture and their concept for RAN planning.
•Proposing new sites of 2G, 3G and LTE after analysis of coverage and capacity issue.
•Worked with the link budget, propagation model and frequency hopping for cell planning.
•Hands on software: Atoll for 3G and LTE predictions, MapInfo Professional, Google Earth and MS Excel.
