Attend project Kick-off meeting, progress meeting, EOT review meeting and input advice from client prospective.
Responsibilities:
- Program Review/Approve, Contractors’ and Sub-Contractors Programs (Baseline/Recovery and regular updates), including cost and resource.
- Perform Schedule Validation using Risk Analysis tool for any basic schedules problems, such as broken logic or lag.
- Perform Pre-Analysis check.
- Develop and import Risk Models.
- Run Risk Analysis.
- Review the results.
- Monitor construction progress and analyze Earned Value and associated Key Performance Indicators.
- Review Contractor’s submittals (Actual vs. Planned).
- Review Authority Approval Matrix, Procurement log, Look ahead program.
- Raise Early Warnings when actual performance of the Works falls short of the target.
- Issue Delay notice to contractor progress performance.
- Prepare contract letters on contractor manpower shortage, Rate of progress, engineering submittals delay.
- Identify project risks, propose mitigation measures and develop project wide risk register and report to Client and consultant team.
- Review Contractors’ Daily, Weekly, Monthly reports.
- Review and assess delay events and provide Impact Assessments.
- Review and assess time aspects of Contractors’ Extension of Time claims.
- Prepare Project Controls Management Plans and Procedures.
- Analyze critical path on progress report, record and reports to Client and Consultant team.
- Attend progress review meetings.
- Prepare monthly progress reports for client in collaboration with project team.
Responsibilities:
- Preliminary evaluation of contractor, subcontractor, and owner claims for entitlement.
- Preparing contractor claims-chronology of delay events.
- Detailed analysis of claims including:
Contract/entitlement analyses / Cause & effect analyses / Schedule analyses / Schedule Impact analyses.
- Assess potential time impacts for the delay events.
- Assess potential time impacts of variations.
- Preparation of comprehensive claims for delay, disruption, and/change order and prolongation, Establish entitlement for extension of time (EOT).
- Responsible to defend / counter any contractual claims with respect to scheduling issues.
- Responsible for all the pre-construction planning review, baseline line, construction, revised/recovery programs review prior to handover planning team.
- Performs and manages complex and sensitive professional planning projects, and analysis.
- Identify the constraint of a project critical chain, and demonstrate the schedule impact to project execution team to perform the activity 50% duration to ovoid possible schedule overrun due to uncertainty of schedule.
- Demonstrate project team for Buffer management to utilize the available resource utilization to project.
- Provides overall management of related planning issues.
- Implement project control plan and monitor project cost and schedule activities of all phases of the project.
- Report to Project Director/PM on all planning-related matters.
- Assigns work to planning staff and ensures appropriate training is provided
- Evaluates operations and activities of assigned responsibilities.
- Prepares reports on operations and activities, recommending improvements and modifications
- Handles sensitive personnel matters
- Attends substantial number of evening and weekend meetings
- Assists project management in the transition of each project from its planning phase to construction.
- Works in support of project management during materials procurement to ensure compliance with construction plans and specifications.
- Provides diagnostic monitoring of baseline estimates during project construction.
- Validates planning metrics upon project completion
- Preparation of project planning control plan in accordance with procedures and object ties.
- Working closely with the project team assisting and guiding on any planning issues.
- Responsible to raise early warnings to alert the project team for their awareness and prompt action taking for any scheduling related issues.
- Providing project planning summary report to client and consultants.
- Reporting to the construction management teams.
- Review progress status, updates and productivity through daily reports.
- Review S-curves for planned and actual progress.
- Follow up procurement team for status for long lead items and communicate with procurement team to make early alert.
- Ensures all parties are fully aware of project schedule activities, delays.
- Monitoring milestones activities and critical paths for timely actions.
- Reviewing commissioning schedule.
- Attend meetings with subcontractors as required.
- Identify potential issues and ways to overcome them.
- Recommendations to overcome project issues and sequencing as required.
- Review and analyze subcontractor’s schedule and submission logs/reports.
- Manages the performance and service delivery of the deliverables.
