Key Deliverables
Ensure that necessary improvements and corrective measures are taken where variations from target achievement occur or inadequate performance is suspected.
Review profitability of all lines to ensure that high margin sales are maximised and encouraged and low margin sales are reviewed to determine how profitability might be improved.
Examine sales ledger information to ensure all outstanding debts have been collected within due time periods set.
Ensure that customer queries and concerns have been responded to and resolved within 24 hours of their being raised.
Interfacing with cross-functional departments for ascertaining annual strategies for sales &procurement; budgeting and planning funds for sourcing and procurement ensuring optimum utilization of material and maximum cost savings.
Streamlining and standardising the systems & procedures for effective inventory control and cycle time reduction to ensure ready availability of materials and increasing the inventory turnover.
Devise and continuously improve efficient Logistics and Supply Chain Management System to ensure timely delivery of goods and achieve maximum cost savings.
Planning & managing the overall procurement of spare parts and requirements and maintaining desired stock levels.
Minimise VOR, Emergency Order and other costs by careful and planned parts ordering, without adversely impacting customer satisfaction.
Completing obligations like submitting pre-qualifications, studying contractual conditions, executing project cost analysis and considering cost impact of techno-commercial conditions.
Developing the long-term partnerships with suppliers; managing the day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms.
Evaluating vendor performance, ensuring adherence to pre-defined specifications and supply of quality material / execution of job works.
Interfacing with cross-functional departments for smooth launch of new products.
