Responsibility and duties:
- Responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance for equipment like pumps, compressors
&valves.
- Responsible for making overhaul maintenance for four Ingersoll Rand centac C40 -MX2-2RH, 2
stages centrifugal compressors including disassemble, inspect, change ( oil, air) seal and
reassemble it again.
- Responsible for make overhaul maintenance for steam valves like, 2 main steam stop valves
(plug with pilot valve), 4 governing control valves, 2 reheat stop valves with 2 interceptor valves and 2
bypass valves.
- Responsible for preparation both special tools and layout area for disassemble parts.
- Responsible for hanging and lifting valves parts.
- Responsible for inspection for valves include visual inspection, run out for stem, nondestructive
test for valves seats, measuring clearances, lapping and blue check (contact check) for seat and
plug and also perform bushing honing.
- Responsible for make overhaul maintenance for 2 boiler feed pump turbine BFPT, its turbine
drive has 8 Stages dual inlet, G.E manufacture and the pump manufacture is I.D.P. WorthingtonPump Capacity 1056 M3/H, and its discharge pressure 190 bar.
- Responsible for preparation both special tools and layout area for disassemble parts for its
steam turbine.
- Responsible for disassemble coupling, (HP and LP turbine) outer shell, inner shell, diaphragms,
steam packing, bearings and rotor.
- Responsible for preparation and lifting turbine parts like, (HP &LP) outer shell &inner shell, valves
governor, steam blades and rotor.
- Responsible for visual inspection for HP &LP steam parts like (blades, journal and thrust bearing
and steam packing).
- Responsible for measuring like (axial and radial rotor position, axial and radial clearance of
blades, clearance of both HP&LP oil deflectors).
- Responsible for making alignment for rotor.
- Responsible for assemble HP&LP turbine and adjust clearance.
Responsibility and duties:-
- Responsible for the safe start-up, safe operation and safe shut down for units from DCS&MARK
VI.
- Two thermal power generation units each one 627 MW.
- Operation and monitoring for boiler (capacity 2100 t/hr, natural circulation), and the steam turbine
(GE, 627 MW, 811MVA).
- Following proceeding for unit cold and hot start up.
- Following proceeding for unit normal and forced cooling shut down.
- Controlling unit during abnormal operating condition (load rejection,
Run back. etc.)
- Monitoring and analysis alarms and abnormal conditions.
- Studying and improving unit's efficiency, studying and analyzing the unit major problems.
- Issues the maintenance requests and follow up the executing work permits with the maintenance
team.
- Perform daily and weekly testing for all equipment.
