Main Duties:

• Conducting site investigations and geotechnical assessments
• Analyzing and interpreting geotechnical data, including soil and rock mechanics, groundwater, and seismic activity
• Designing and implementing foundations, retaining structures, and other geotechnical systems
• Conducting slope stability analysis and landslide risk assessments
• Conducting geological hazard assessments and developing mitigation measures
• Developing and implementing soil and groundwater remediation plans
• Preparing technical reports and communicating findings to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and construction managers
• Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Staying up-to-date with industry developments and advances in geotechnical engineering.
• Responsible for the continued assessment of rock conditions in the tunnel. They will determine the rock support class after each round of blasting and ensure that the associated support elements have been installed and applied correctly. Responsibilities include: 1- Producing tunnel mapping logs for each blast. 2- Construction projects in tunnelling works including TBMs, Drill & Blast, NATM and cut and cover methods . 3- concrete and waterproofing installation systems for tunnels. 4- Monitoring & reporting SMA readings. 5- Liaising with Client Representative. 6- Visual inspections during support installation and inspections for grout materials. 7- Coordinating with geotechnical teams for contractor to ensure correct installation of support.
8- Responsible for providing concrete systems and installation expertise to the Project Management Consultant (PMC) team. 9- Confirm all materials and equipment on the site fully comply with design code / standard and technical specification requirements 10-Responsible for construction oversight and compliance of drill and blast tunnel contractor's works are carried out as per the drawings, specifications and standards, as per schedule and ensures compliance to ES&H plans, quality standards and local/national regulatory safety codes
11- Review any work flow M/S and materials inspection and ITP for tunnels.
• Review and follow-up for works MSE wall (M/S, materials inspection, ITP and work inspection).
• Review and follow-up Geotechnical Designs Reports Hazard Risk.
• Review and follow-up for works Road (M/S, materials inspection, ITP, pipe culvert and work inspection) Inspect all types of soil
testing Daily monitoring site activities
Coordinating with project clients and sending daily progress report of the project with required documentation and information
Supervise excavation works, trial pits, Boreholes, Scheduling and analyzing laboratory tests based on the technical specifications, engineering study requirements considering bill of quantities Ensure the implementation of the work according to the required specifications Checking request adequacy for any project and advising technical concerns Kick off meetings with clients and management for various projects Daily monitoring of project activities to deliver the report on time, meeting the technical specifications
