The job contributes to Starbucks success by leading a team of Store Partners to create & maintain the Starbucks Experience for our Customers & Partners. The Store Supervisor is required to regularly & customarily exercise discretion in managing the overall operation of the Store. In particular, a majority of time is spent supervising & directing the workforce, making staffing decisions ensuring customer satisfaction & product quality, managing the store's financial performance, & managing safety & security within the store.
PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• QUALITY OPERATIONS - Identify and constantly monitors quality issues in relation to service, environment, staffing level, partner’s competence, operating procedures, and decides possible actions to maintain the possible highest standard in all areas.
• FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION - Decides how to manage cost within budget, identifies and implements methods of increasing sales. Assesses compliance with standards, decides action how to improve or control.
• ORDERING - Decides optimum level of stocks against sales, inventory costs and budget.
• TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT - Continuously review each partner skills and decide targets to achieve improvements and maintain standards.
• STORE GOALS - Decides how to share goals with partners, how to motivate them and how to manage achievement.
• STAFFING AND PERFORMANCE - Decides staff required based on skills / potential, and day-to-day operating issues.
