I worked as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in B.H.E.L Electrical Machine (Testing) Department.
During my job, I have familiarized with Turbo Generator of 2 & 4 Pole.
• Preparation of Turbo Generator for Testing
• Preparation of all equipment like Armature, PMG, Rotor, Stator for Testing.
• Conduct Routine & Dynamic test on Turbo Generator to find the Losses, Efficiency, Output Voltage, Output Current, Output Power, Copper losses, Iron losses, Ohmic resistance & Insulator resistance.
• Testing of Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD)
• Good understanding of Electrical drawings of Turbo and Steam generator.
• Making sure that all QA records, data & information are available to managers.
• Arranging the repair of any QA related equipment that is malfunctioning

➢ Deliverables: • Calculation of total power load from zero to maximum demand as per requirements & standards.

• Selection of HT/LT cables based on thermal, short circuit & voltage drop based ampacity.
