•Inspect and test all works (Internal works for all building types, treatment station, desalination station, Lift station, transformer rooms, Medium voltage Infra works, Low voltage Infra works, T.V. infra works, Termination for medium and low voltage cable, Earthing systems, installation of RMU's & MDB's and 22/0.4 KV transformers, Low voltage distribution panels for housing units feeding (secondary distribution boards, Pillars, Housing coffree's & junction boxes ) and prepare the comments sheet for these works
•Review the monthly bills submitted by the contactors according to the approved bills of quantities (BOQ's)
•Prepare the Snag list for the contractors after last inspection of the finalized works
•Prepare the Preliminary and Final Handing Over's for all works after determine the ramping or discount rates according to the snag list.
•Inspect the samples submitted from the contractors
•Interpreting the tender documents concerning electrical works such as BOQ, drawings, specification and contract conditions.
•Produce Request’s for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Orders on a project basis at a technical and commercial level.
•Prepare, review and develop the cost estimation of tender, including the direct costs and indirect, overhead breakdown for final approval, cash flow and submit technical and financial proposals for bids
•Electrical distribution systems design such as:
- Medium Voltage (M.V Switch Gear, Transformers and M.V Cables).
- Low Voltage (Distribution Panel Boards, MCC Panels, Lighting, Wiring Devices, UPS, Generators and L.V Cables).
- Low Current systems (CCTV, Fire detection and Telephone/ Data network) and Instrumentation design.
