Construction of Infrastructure for Residential Area at KATARA CULTURAL VILLAGE PHASE-3 DEVELOPMENT, DOHA, QATAR
Project Description: Underground Switching Station including all 11kV HV Switchgears, Incoming 11kV 3Cx240mm2 HV Cables, FO Pilot cables, Network Protection Scheme, Control Panels and Cables, SCADA system including controls and cables, marshalling boxes, 11kV cable joints, Cable Tiles, Cable Trenches, Cable Ladders, Cable Trays, Excavation and backfilling materials, cable markers and tapes, and termination of the said cables in the switching station.
17 no’s fully underground indoor 11/.433kV substations including 11kV Switchgears, 1600kVA dry type transformers and 2500A-6way/400A distribution feeder pillars complete with required HRC fuses and cable termination facilities.
Fully underground indoor Q-Tel rooms.
11kV cable connections from switching station to 11/.433kV underground stations, including all interconnection power cables, control cables and earthing cables.
Low voltage cabling and connections from 11/0.433kV underground substations to special custom made villa service cabinets, Underground storage facility buildings, gatehouses, Q-Tel rooms, landscape lighting feeder pillars and pump rooms.
Testing and Commissioning of the entire electrical and fire alarm systems for all buildings including 11kV switching station, underground substations and underground Q-Tel rooms.
Testing and commissioning of Landscape Lighting includes Lighting feeder pillars, landscape luminaries, Low voltage cabling and connections from 11/0.433kV underground substations to lighting feeder pillar, low voltage cabling and connections from lighting feeder pillars to luminaries, Earthing and grounding system, Protective relays / protection system, Control system, Control Cables.
Development comprising of 34 no’s 1600kVA dry type transformers with 17 no’s 11/0.433Kv underground indoor substations of which 9 no’s located in the southern precinct and 8 no’s in the northern precinct. The project worth of QR2 billion.
Responsibilities/Tasks: Be familiar with IMS Manual, Procedure and Project Quality Plan. Initiate changes to PQP with respect to change in scope of work, project delay and any other criteria. Preparation of ITP’s & Identify requirements of new ITP’s, QC procedures and develop the same in coordination with HO. Monitor use of controlled copies of latest versions of drawings, documents in use in the projects. Periodically create awareness to the personnel on IMS. Inform HO on audits through Project Manager as per schedule. Follow up for close out of Corrective Action Requests. Identify non conformities related to all processes including documentation & records. Monitor activities right from Receipt, in process up to final inspection and identify & record the non conformities if any. Ensure identification and traceability in all stages. Identify customer supplied product and facilities and ensure proper control of the same. Monitor material handling and storage. Monitoring and Measuring Equipment control. Be aware of project management procedure & highlight the lapses in the process. Monitor achievement of quality objectives. Monitor the subcontractor processes and report the lapses to PM/HO. Interact with Manager (QA/QC) for any functional issues. Prepare and submit monthly reports to HO on timely basis.
EPIC of Kitchen facilities and Electrical Works in QatarGas Doha HO Building
Project Description: QatarGas Doha HO Building is having 50 floors with basement. The parking Area is separate building interconnected with the tower building at the 5th floor level. This car park building is with a kitchen facility and wide serving Area located on sixth level. The Project scope is to enlarge this kitchen and serving area to cater to 1000+ employees working in the HO building. The project worth of QR28 million.

Project Description: Founded in 1957, Al Fateh University is the largest and most respected institute of higher education in Libya. Expansion of Al Fateh includes new facilities, extensions to existing facilities and general infrastructure improvements to support the facilities upgrade. The project comprises approximately 1.66 million square meters of new space in 73 buildings, divided in two campuses. Project management services in connection with the $2 billion multi-campus expansion.
Responsibilities/Tasks: Electrical Inspector with extended duties of Design reviews, Consultation, Documentation And Inspection. Monitoring of daily works at site carrying out according to Specifications, International Standards and Method Statements. Providing advice to Contractor if they are not satisfactory. Review and submit Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reports. Prepare progress reports. Prepare list of defective works. Monitoring of Safety at site. Reviewing of Drawings, Material submittals, Method Statements. Inspection of Materials and Site work. Attending Site walks and meetings. Examine the quality of works. Project Description: The company got various activities in contracting and engineering of electrical works. They have work contract with 3 companies and their related construction works.
Responsibilities/Tasks: Electrical engineer with extended duties of Design reviews, Specifications, Consultation, Documentation And Inspection. During that period I was supposed to Supervise 3 Factories. We had Contract on Maintenance of their old works as well as Works including new Construction jobs. Supervise construction plans. Supervise operation and maintenance staff. Review and submit Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reports. Prepare list of defective works. Monitoring of Safety at site. Reviewing of Drawings, Material submittals, Method Statements. Inspection of Materials and Site work. Attending Site walks and meetings. Examine the quality of works. Identify, analyze and solve problems. Work on electronic systems used for computing, communications and other industrial applications. Other major responsibilities were: The interaction with the Factory MD’s, Managing and guiding the 5 groups which was under me, The documentation and formalities with Electricity board.
Airmech Dubai (Various sites): The Company got various activities in contracting, and Engineering of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing works besides their Fabrication and Welding wing. Their works Includes Emirates Tower (Office) in Dubai, Green Community At Jebel ali Dubai (Hotel, Apartments, Villas etc), Emirates Palace hotel Abudhabi etc. I worked in Green Community as Electrical Charge hand. The project consists of 500 Villas, 4 Star hotel (Marriot), 14 Terraced apartments (5 floors), 3 Office blocks (4 floors) and Hotel apartments. I worked there till the end of the site and after that they selected me to the maintenance wing. From there Company send me to Jebel ali free zone in a contract with Lipton LLC. After that with a contract with another company Impact Electro Mechanical LLC, I worked at Emirates Tower (office), Mall of Emirates (coffee shop), Green community (Shopping Mall) etc. After that company got contract of Airport Terminal 3 Dubai.
Responsibilities/Tasks: Extended duties of charge hand & supervisor. During my works in Dubai I have gone through many varieties of works such as general construction works including Testing, Charging, Inspection, Commissioning, Controlling Works of Transformers, Generators, Building Management Systems, Fire Alarm Systems (programmable & non programmable), Emergency lighting Systems, Access control systems etc. Submitting and reviewing of Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports. Monitoring of Safety at site. Make sure that the completed works meet specifications and safety standards. Identify, analyze and solve problems. TARAPUR PHARMA-CHEM PVT LTD: The Company is into manufacturing of chemicals & pharmaceuticals; both for exporting & in order from other factories also. Expansion of Factory Buildings including Office and Renovation of Existing Buildings.
Role & Responsibility:Reports to General Manager. Giving instructions and supervising for site works. Preparing Drawings. Works includes Flame proof systems, Centrifuges, Heaters, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, Transformers and Generators. Carried out testing and commissioning of all systems. Monitoring of site works carrying out according to International Standards. Receive the approved construction drawings and supervise the site manpower to ensure proper implementation of plans and specifications. Preparing and submit Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reports. Identify, analyze and solve problems. Prepare list of defective works. Inspection of Materials and Site work. Attending Site walks and meetings. Examine the quality of works. Make sure that the completed works meet specifications, quality and safety standards. Develop and supervise the manufacture installation, operation, distribution, utilization and control of electric power. Work on electronic systems used for computing, communications and other industrial applications. Work out delivery and installation schedules for machines, switchgear, cables and fittings.
VMP ELECTRIC WORKS: They are dealing with the electrical contracting & engineering works with different companies at industrial area of Maharashtra, (MIDC- Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation Tarapur). They have construction & maintenance contracts all over MIDC. Companies including chemical factories, pharmaceutical factories, petro-chemicals etc...
Role & Responsibility:Performed as Team Leader. During the works there, was In charge of construction and renovation of 4 companies at a time. Reports to General Manager. Organize and manage staff. Schedule and organize the required manpower. Giving instructions and supervising for site works. Preparing Drawings.
