Reporting to the Corporate IT Director. Lead and managed professional team within the region. Directed all aspects of the IT infrastructure of the entire organization. Turned around previously unsuccessful IT projects and brought to life a range of new strategic IT initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• As Head of IT Department overseeing IT team for their daily functions in servers monitoring, data backup, firewall & security, projects mobilization and software development.
• Took various initiatives to restructure the IT organization to maximize efficiency and improve quality.
• Involved in the ERP implementations HRM, Change Management & Procurement modules
• Maintained staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
• SLM covering UAE branches, negotiating contracts SLAs & OLAs for services with 3rd parties as well as internal BUs.
• Provided strategic alignment, governance, focus, measurement and management of Supplier Relationship (SRM) and Supplier Performance Management (SPM) of third party Suppliers.
• P&L management experience, accomplished financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing annual budgets.
• Created and enforced a number of IT policies and procedures.
• Managed multiple RFI, RFP and tender process activities for various projects, working in close conjunction with the business stakeholder and the Procurement and Supply Management function
• Deployment of cost saving plans i.e VoIP, IT shared services and contracts management (FSMA, AMC & SMA).
• SaaS of internal developed business solutions based on MySQL DB and Ms. Access GUI (HRM for all DSI subsidiaries, IT assets management & contracts).
• IT Projects management, mobilization process & cabling for site offices (Louver Abu Dhabi, Presidential Palace Project, Al- Muneera Development and Shangri La Hotel Abu Dhabi).
