Working within the Contracting Team, which specializes in projects’ finance, close monitoring, and early problem detection, but the credit portfolio is not exclusively made up of contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving as primary contact point for new and existing corporate clients.
- Responsible for building and managing a credit portfolio consisting of regional clients ranging in size from SR 30M to SR 600M in sales; however, it also included clients with sales of SR 2-4Bln.
- Demonstrated excellent expertise in negotiation and deal structuring for complex project finance.
- Attending & presenting credit proposals to credit committees.
- Analyzing borrower financials (contractors, traders, manufacturers, and services), loan documents, bank engineer reports.
-Maintaining a close relationship with clients by working on resolving issues, providing solutions, and enhancing satisfaction as well as cross-selling of various bank products.
Key Achievement/Projects
- Successfully attracted, maintained, and retained critical relationships with top tier clientele, which resulted in growing my portfolio reaching a high of SR 2.2Bln in assets.
- Engaged in remedial work where successfully managed to reduce exposure, secure bank position by obtaining additional collateral, and structuring & implementing rescue plans.

Attaining and managing credit relationships
Relationship Management including but not limited to spreading and analysis of financial statements, maintaining credit files, conducting field and office visits and cross-selling of the Bank's products.
• Amongst my portfolio was financing the first CMC chemical
producing plant in the Middle East, which is located at Dammam
2nd Industrial City, Saudi Arabia.
Assisted corporate division #3 in all aspects of the relationship
management, which included spreading and analysis of financials,
maintaining credit files and communicating with clients etc. Also, it
involved marketing and cross-selling of bank's products.
SHB Management Training Program (Fast track program for future
managers) . Training included attending numerous courses at the Institute of Banking (established by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency SAMA) along several rotations between the bank's departments.
The co-operative program is between King Fahad University and
Minerals and the private sector to train undergraduates. Undertook my
training at the Investment Department and Business Development
Department.
• Major task: conducting research regarding the Turkish real estate
market for the Business Development Department
• Major task: developing an automated spreadsheet to reflect daily
stock prices and plug them into financial models
Also, completed a certificate: Business Valuation. This is concerned with the valuation and reporting of intangible assets.
