Reporting directly to Assistant Executive Director - HR and responsible for leading a team of 6. The role primarily focuses on assisting in designing and implementing section strategies, policies, procedures, and frameworks in alignment with HR strategy and business objectives and to oversee the day-to-day operations of delegated sections and supervise/coordinate the activities of staff. Key responsibilities: -
1. Assist in developing the section overall strategy, business plan and budget, policy, and procedures.
2. Lead strategic projects and initiatives; and ensure key deadlines are met using collaborative processes.
3. Supervise and coordinate activities of staff.
4. Review and standardization of procedure to improve efficiency of subordinates.
5. Assist in identifying staff training needs and evaluate trainings.
6. Assist in identifying and justifying the section need for new headcount.
7. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist subordinates in solving such problems.
The core functions of this role are to research, analyze, and develop reports on the compensation and benefits related matters and to provide input to develop and streamline the processes. Preparing presentation and other communication tools for the section
Managed a team of 12, the core function of the role was to deliver an effective and efficient human resource service across SMEET Group. To propose, research and implement new initiatives that promote SMEET as an employer of choice. Support and assist the Management to deliver the objectives of the Human Resources Strategy.
