1. Receiving a record of control points from the municipality to establish permanent control points from them for the site and conduct data works for traverses or GPS static points.
2. Preparing maps and drawings before carrying out works such as (Marine survey - OGL - Utilities as built - Bathymetric Survey) for create topographical surfaces for the shape of the NGL, calculating quantities and making profiles and section to submittal to the technical office for conduct studies and make shop drawings.
3. Supervising the surveyors of subcontractors to carry out all survey work:
4. Marine demolition work.
5. Marine new construction works.
6. Marine backfilling.
7. Works of infrastructure service corridors (Electricity - Etisalat- storm water - Pipe line for the drainage - Sewage Chambers - etc.).
8. Setting out of road corridors and services.
9. Follow the specification of backfilling layers for roads.
10. Setting out of all types piling for the bridges.
11. Culvert causeway works
12. Receive the WIR and inspection with the consultant for each item done in site.
13. In addition to all of the above, cooperation with the technical office in providing it with any data, maps, quantities or sections necessary in the design or drawings to work at the site.

1. Preparing the surfaces for the natural land and reviewing the profiles and sectors.
2. Review the quantities of digging and filling for the road.
3. Supervising all road layers (Formation levels, Infill Layers for MSE Wall, Embankment layer (Base layer, Subbase layer, Grade layer, Sub grade layer) Parapet barrier installation on the MSE wall, Asphalt base course, Asphalt binder course, Asphalt wearing course)
4. Supervising the marine survey and the quantities of withdrawing sand from the sea to reach the design level.
5. Supervising the construction of piles and bridge foundations, the construction of bridge piers and columns, and the installation of bridge girders and bridge construction layers.
6. -Supervising all infrastructure services works (storm water drainage manholes - lighting poles - all services of electricity, Etisalat, Police ... etc.
7. Reviewing all certificates of surveying devices to allow them to be used on the site.
8. Review all shop drawings submitted by the contractor.
9. Work under security and safety instructions at the site and monitor that at the site.
10. Attending meetings with the contractor and owner to follow up the work and solve the contractor's work problems and provide support, information, and advice to them

Marine survey works:
● We do Bathymetric survey to draw up a topography of the seabed bottom,
then making profile and sections to calculating the quantities of cut by
dragging or fill the sand.
● Excavation and initialization for formation level bottom of the islands beach to
boot the concrete blocks and setting out for concrete blocks as per deign that
protect the islands from erosion.
● Build and construction sheet piles for installation cofferdam area to
construction pontoon for the boats.
Infrastructure works:
Make Surveying for the ground level, then we draw topography of natural ground
level, Then we make a leveling to the design surface to extend the drainage,
electrical, Etisalat pipes and all manhole connections.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
● Overall responsibility for all survey works in the different site areas.
● Responsible to execute the works under instruction of operation manager.
● Coordination between the technical office and structural manager and review the
all drawings of construction and architectural and inform them of any differences
between the site and shop drawings.
● Responsible for demarcations and find the any coordinates for site with the
competent authorities and government agencies such as municipalities.
● Responsible for the selection of surveyors and all survey machines.
● Take daily survey work of instruction from the project Managers.
● Supervises and performs land surveys including subdivision checks, laying-out of
property lines, deformation studies, and geographic information systems (GIS).
● Supervises and files the compilation of records.
● Supervises and performs field data collection and layout for construction and
design projects and the acquisition of field data required to authoritatively position
fixed works or cadastral data relative to geodetic control.
● Administers and coordinates contracts or projects by overseeing the work of
contractors, consultants, and related personnel who have been assigned
responsibility for various portions of the project, monitors projects for
conformance to survey requests and approved plans.
● Assigns and distributes work, reviews work for accuracy and completeness and
returns assignments with recommendations for proper completion.
● Resolves problems encountered during daily operations and determines
appropriate solutions; promotes teamwork. Encourages regular communication,
informs staff of relevant business issues.
● Documents causes for disciplinary action, initiates letters of reprimand, and makes
formal recommendations for disciplinary action. Responds to formal and informal
employee grievances and prepares written responses.
● Inform the project manager for any structural mistakes at site resulting from
supervisors because not following the correct work from survey department.
