Created clear vision and objectives to ensure the department had a realistic deliverable roadmap in becoming a world-class IT Department. This involved business consultation; putting error-free procedures for processes; changing the mind-set and culture of IT internally and being security, legal and audit compliant.
 Integral member of the top leaders group within BNY and worked together with other business leaders ensuring the business operation plan was met.
 Creating a more metric based and SLA driven organization where people can also grow, be empowered whilst still being accountable. I also made the department become more proactive rather than being completely reactive.
 Managed the operational requirements and transfer of the Threadneedle Asset business and Standard Life to BNY. Major involvement in setting up of the new Centre of Excellence in Manchester.
