1. Administer the preparation and monitoring of work permits prior to start of operations
2. Conduct safety toolbox meeting to all project workers prior to start of work together with field supervisors
3. Supervise the preparation of various safety signs and installation of safety barricades as required inside the worksite
4. Daily routine inspection on worksite before, during and after operations
5. Supervises all construction activities and maintenance in the plant.
6. Assist in the investigation of all accidents, injuries/illnesses, fire property damaged and other related incidents and issues reports as required
7. Provides technical supervision for the Safety Program, and enforces policies and directives.
8. Devises, supervises, and coordinates training programs which encourage safe work habits.
9. Develops a system to ensure timely distribution of safety materials such as posters, safety bulletin etc., which are received from the HSE Manager
10. Ensures that all construction personnel are properly trained in the company’s site safety requirements and procedures
1. Make daily site inspection reports.
2. Comply with the Main Contractor’s Safety Policy and make sure that it is being strictly enforced.
3. Prepare all necessary Permits for the execution of work.
4. Implements and evaluates the effectiveness of components of the accident prevention and environmental health and safety compliance programs.
5. Conducts safety training orientation weekly toolbox meeting and starr talk.
6. Evaluate the workplace and work practices for safety deficiencies, determine what corrective action is required and either take corrective action or refer them to the attention of the appropriate authority.
7. Receive, review and investigate reports of injuries and incidents and ensure that copies are sent to the Environmental Health and Safety Office.
8. Carry out various safety procedures on different aspects of work.
9. Attend safety meetings and interact with other colleagues on how to resolve some safety issues.
10. Make random/monthly inspections on all equipments used on site and make sure it passed the safety standards.
