• Preparing & presenting Range Building Presentation / sign off to the Management.
• Negotiating cost prices, working to tight margins and continuously aiming for margin growth, Price negotiation with the vendor which gained GP up to 3%.
• Identifying slow and fast selling products and recommending “in-season” actions like mark downs, stock transfer & consolidation to good locations etc.
• Formulate strategy and decide on Review matrix, Ageing Report, Markdowns and offers running across the stores.
• Liaise with Supply Chain team; implement category buying decisions on stock levels.
• Maintain quality assurance control and audit of samples, research fashion trends and prepare bulletins/ mood boards to assist Buyer. Liaise with Marketing, VM, and B&M to amend POS materials to agreed criteria.
• Manage shipment, delivery dates as per schedule; Upload all promotions accurately onto the system, within agreed timescales.
• Identifying store visit opportunities and key issues to raise as agreed with, merchandiser, technology & VM.
