Report to the mechanical commissioning engineer.
ÿ Interfaces with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities
ÿ scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines
ÿ Lead craft supervision for a wide range of mechanical equipment and system testing & pre-commissioning activities
ÿ Implement & Test the subsystems as per project commissioning test sheets
ÿ Monitoring Mechanical Completion progress punch status
ÿ Verify Marine side systems Piping & Mechanical disciplines with P&ID, ISO and vendor equipment drawing and point
out punches
ÿ Perform inter-discipline checks
ÿ Coordinates Mechanical Spare Parts - ensure that they are all available for pre-commissioning use and in the
warehouse
ÿ Support pre-commissioning activities, such as lube oil flushing, seal system flushing and charging, chemical cleaning,
final alignment and coupling installation
ÿ Participate in walk downs, mechanical checks, vessel closures and installation of filters/ spades/blinds
ÿ Execute specific specialist pre-commissioning activities (in coordination with system engineers ) such as leak testing,
air freeing, flooding, filling, coupled pump runs and removal/reinstate suction/discharge valves
ÿ Preparation of method statements, procedures and routines where required
ÿ Reports on work progress, bringing to notice potential problems or delays and recommends solutions
ÿ Plan, Monitor and assist in Vendor activities as required
ÿ Supports LOTO activities during work preparation, and confirms 100% compliance of craft sign on/off
ÿ Compliance in accordance with HSE Standards

Preparing the shift report, machine status report and manpower utilization during shift and pending jobs; identifying areas of defects; conducting service/repair to rectify equipments.
Establishing quality standards, implementing stringent quality control systems for incoming materials to enhance quality of products & reduce the rejection rate.

• Non destructive Test (NDT) like Dye Penetrating Test in the welded joints and flanges in the pipe.

Distinction of conducting model approval of flow meters and other flow products as per AGA, OIML, ANSI, BS EN and IS standards.
