- Coordinate the Structural and temporary works activities on site (Scaffolding, Formwork, Shoring, Lifelines, Struts, Ramps, Platforms)
- Follow up the site construction work to ensure that quality, safety standards, costs and deadlines are met in accordance with Contract and project specifications.
- Liaising between the design team, the main contractor and sub-contractors.
- Supervision of installation and erection of permanent and temporary works.
- Develop the procedures for the control of temporary works and ensure they are implemented on site as per QCS and British Standards.
- Ensure that a satisfactory design is carried out, that appropriate design checks are completed and that the design has been approved.
- Maintain all records relating to the final design of the permanent and temporary works including drawings, calculations and other relevant documents.
- Ensure the design is implemented in accordance with the drawings and specification.
- Planning, managing and monitoring the onsite temporary works.
- Review and assist in production of TW Design Briefs.
- Maintain a temporary works register.
•Ensure all temporary works are adequately designed, checked, constructed and dismantled on site as per the Temporary Works procedure.
•Preparing conceptual and detailed designs in accordance with current standards and code.
•In charge of formwork and scaffolding design and site works.
•Checking the adequacy of TW design inputs.
•Coordinating all operations relating to the manufacturing, construction and regular inspection.
•Checking on site that TW have been assembled and/or build in accordance withdesign studies (drawings, loads, phases, tests).
•Ensure safety standards and procedures are implemented and followed in accordance with contract requirements and company guidelines.
•Tracking of scaffold progress from allsites.
•Preparation of formwork and scaffolding method statement.
•Managing and training the Temporary works Supervisors.
•Site supervising.
Responsible for leading the Design Process for varying and complex projects in the Region.
•Responsible for converting enquiries into innovative solutions, which best combine the Technical, Commercial and Operational aspects in order to maximize profitable revenue.
•Acting as a Deputy to the Engineering Director.
•Develop and optimize schemes, taking them through to approval stage.
•Plan and co-ordinate varying highly technical projects of a non-standard nature and their associated costs.
•Providing guidance / review / checks of designs by others where appropriate.
•Ensuring that schemes, quotations are prepared within the time constraints.
•Acting as an authorized sign off on design approvals.
•Provide a service to the sales teams and customers, resolving technical queries of a complex nature.
•Contribute to new product developments and existing product enhancements.
•Train and mentor new joining engineers.
Projects: Metro Extension, NGL Skikda and Arzew Refinery. Transrhumel Viaduct.
•Engineering and design of scaffolding, shoring & formwork according to customer’s plans.
•Propose the most economical and best technical solution.
•Prepare Shop Drawings Of Scaffolding & Formwork Design As Per Available Stock.
•Produce material list, offer drawings and shop drawings.
•Assist the Sales Engineer with site visits.
•Coordination with other involved departments (Operations, Site Supervisors, Project Coordinator)
•Periodical Inspection of Site projects.
Projects: British Embassy, Medical University, Metro Project.
•Develop formwork, shoring or scaffolding solutions for various kinds of concrete construction projects.
•Prepare Shop Drawings of Scaffolding & Formwork Design As Per Available Stock.
•Interacting with the sales force and design supervisor to provide the most cost effective design solutions.
•Produce engineering documents, such as zlayout drawings, shop drawings, assembly drawings and material lists.
•Providing Technical solutions to Customers.
•Periodical Inspection of Site Projects.
- Design and engineering of a steel manufacturing line for SIEMENS VAI (with:
PDMS, Catia, AutoCAD).
- Design and engineering of a cement factory for Lafarge (with: PDMS,
Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Prepare and check material data sheets and coordinate with procurement
engineer to select materials.
