Prepare daily funding breakdown by org unit to facilitate daily overnight funding accuracy.

Prepare Minimum Capital & Reserve Reports and Net Open Position for treasury manager to ensure compliance with the statutory requirements of State Bank of Pakistan.

Verification of market data on a daily basis for fair value estimation of MTM portfolios.

Prepare commentary and analyses for regional offices to explain month over month and quarter over quarter fluctuations.

Responsible for monitoring and coordinating with the settlement desk in regards to funding issues & to ensure appropriate funding and cost allocations.

Prepare/review routine accounting entries and supporting schedules according to accounting/control procedures to adhere to regulatory guidelines.

Perform daily control and reconciliation of systems to GL to ensure accuracy.

Produce month-end attestation packages to meet finance and government reporting requirements.

Settlement and processing of outright selling/ purchasing of treasury bills, Pakistan Investment Bonds, FX and derivatives transactions on a daily basis.

Resolve any month-end issues related to the funding desk such as pool funding, realized/un-realized P & L, and average cash movement in the general ledger to ensure correct reporting.

Monitoring of limits versus utilization and provide assistance in generating monthly reports pertaining to market risk.

Prepare quarterly and annual schedules (fixed income, FX, money market and derivatives) as required by external auditors.

Frequent contact with traders to resolve booking or parameter discrepancies regarding rates, cash settlements and failures.

Selected by head of Global Banking Services and head of Compliance to lead the project for the review of “Key Operating Procedures” in accordance with the guidelines provided by regional office.

Actively participated in various “User Acceptance Testing” procedures for FX, fixed income and derivative systems.
