Key Responsibilities
- Identify market conditions & competitor actions.
- Assist in the company’s target growth through developing the property business.
- Handling all Property underwriting aspects.
- Understand risk appetite and prioritizes new/renewal business based on portfolio management strategy.
- Underwrite profitable new and renewal business to meet property targets in accordance with the company underwriting guidelines.
- Negotiate price, terms and conditions.
- Prepare quotations for major operations and represent the company in the bidding and practices
- Follow-up to achieve the administration's plan of each year.
- Examine the previous claims to better understand loss drivers, trends and wording issues.
- Promote and develop new business opportunities, as well as, maintaining renewals by developing and establishing relationships with key brokers & clients.
- Follow-up results of customers brokers in resolving obstacles to their work in the company
- Reinsurance agreement surplus (Optional)
- Assume the key accounts/clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with producers and clients.
- Preparing the pipeline report for new accounts and Broker / client meetings.
- Supervise and monitor underwriters and manages all branches.

- Relationship development expertise that complements the ability to aggressively build solid brokers and clients base and drive revenue growth.

- Practical experience in testing he current company strategies and processes, searching for new opportunities and methods of improving business, developing the SWOT & PEST Analysis, and recommending action plans.

Underwriting
-Studying insurance proposals.
-Making the necessary survey report.
-Issuing standard policies.
-Issuing more specialized policies i.e. (hotel package, industrial all risk, etc.).
-Revise policies issued by the branch of the company.
-Developing policies according to market needs.
-Prepare client quotations.
-Present the company at several Tenders.
Brokers and Clients Assistance
-Providing pre-sales support to brokers.
-Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers.
-Make visits to potential customers.
-Solving client problems.
Reinsurance
-Risk distribution.
-Studying the inward facultative business and set the amount (share) of acceptance.
-Marketing the outward facultative business.
-Preparing Fire and Burglary quarter and annual reinsurance accounts.
Internal Assistance
-Contribute in setting up the Fire and Burglary automation system for both Issue and reinsurance.
-Co-operate with the IT department to implement the software needed in order to automate issuing and re-insurance processes.
-Prepare and lecture regular training programs (Fire and Burglary) for both Brokers and Staff.
