As a Deputy Manager Projects, I am responsible for assisting General Manager Projects, Leasing, Retail and Construction Team for preparation of feasibility reports of New Retails Outlets, Yearly Planning, Coordination with Principal Designer, Consultants, developing of Capex and Budgeting, Procurement Management, Monitoring Progress and Handing over of Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Arranging meetings on Design, Coordination and Project Timelines with Architecture/Interior Design Consultants and MEP Consultants.

Preparation of Financial costing and Estimates of projects, Capex, Projects Budgets, yearly project Schedules and timelines of projects to support in achievement of strategic objectives.

Preparation of Ongoing and upcoming Projects Progress Reports and Monthly Presentation on Project Milestones, Deliverables, Cost, Risks and issues.

Following up with departments, vendors, consultants in all Project related matters for continuing projects operations.

Ensuring timely submission of all project submittal and obtaining approvals of samples, shop drawings and schedules.

Receiving all projects related instructions from Head of Department, communicate and arranging effective actions in coordination with Management.

OFM Items scheduling and procurement according to the consultant’s specifications and timely delivery at site.

Ensuring projects are executing according to the given timeline, budget and quality in coordination with regional project team.

Ensuring timely close-out of projects including attending of punch list and submission of all close-out documents contains measurement sheets, Variation Orders, testing reports, warranties and O&M Manuals.

As a Manager Projects I am responsible for assisting CEO, General Manager Projects and Contracts Team in Review of MEP Design Drawings, Planning, Coordination, Cost Control, Execution and Handing over of Projects.

Attending regular meetings on Design, Coordination and Work Progress, with Client, Consultants and Contractors.

Monitoring Projects Budgets, Schedules, oversee performance to ensure on time, quality and on budget execution.

Review and Analyze Drawings, Specifications and statement of Works for projects resource planning and scheduling.

Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are provided are complying with authorities regulations.

Following up with departments, vendors, consultants in all Project related matters for continuing projects operations.

Coordination with MEP Consultants and Architect Team for finalization of Design.

Pre-Qualification of Bidders, Issuance of Tender, Cost Control Sheets.

Development of Comparative Statement for Equipment Suppliers.

Development of Project Schedule and Owner Furnished Material Schedule with coordination of Contractor.

Daily Monitoring of Project Execution stage and Coordination with Resident Engineer.

Resolve daily site queries with coordination of Architect and MEP Consultants.

Material Submittal Approvals and Variation Orders.

Issuance of Weekly Project Report to Client.

Arrangement of Site Visits and Weekly meeting with Client and Consultants, Minutes of Weekly Meeting.

Assisted Senior Mechanical Engineers; provide assistance for delivery of high quality mechanical designing proposals for different nature of projects including Design and Drawing development, Cost Estimation, Material and Equipment Specification, Bill of Quantities, Design Analysis report.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning and designing of mechanical systems through Design-build and bid processes.

Planning, Design and Development of complete HVAC systems including Package air conditioning unit and Split Air-conditioning unit, Air Handling unit, Fan coil unit, chilled water system.

Heat Load Calculation (HAP-Carrier), Equipment selection, Duct Design & Sizing (ASHRAE, SMACNA),

Pipe Design & Sizing, Pump Head Calculation, proposed and shop Drawings, Specifications, Equipment schedules, Materials & Fittings quantity take off.

Design and development of fire protection system including Sprinklers system, Hose reel cabinet, Dry risers, Wet risers and Foam system, Fire Extinguishing Systems & Fire Pumps (Diesel Pump, Jockey Pump & Electric motor Pump) as per NFPA and Royal Commission Regulations & standards)

Energy Audit and conservation, KDA water networks for Pharmaceutical, textile and commercial buildings.
