As a staff nurse in MICU, I was responsible for the nursing management of 2 patients at a time. Most of the patients were admitted with respiratory failure, COPD, GI bleeding, sepsis, bronchitis, asthma, CVA, food poisoning, drug overdose, pneumonia.

• Bladder wash and bladder irrigation

• Assisting in ICD insertion, venous cut down, incision and drainage, plural tapping, paracentesis, endoscopy
• Collection of lab specimens, interpreting and reporting results and treating appropriately
