Human Resource Specialist
• Acts as assistant to the Vice President of the company
• End to end recruitment process
• develop, advise on and implement policies relating to the effective use of personnel

Clinical duties:
• Responsible for PhilHealth (make sure PHIC requirements submitted are complete, Fill-up Claim Form 2 part, computes and codes the procedure done, attach all documents needed before submitting to PhilHealth office, submits to PHIC office)
• Takes the client history and do initial exams on clients (VA, ref, IOP, Kera)
• Provides pre-operative and post-operative counselling to clients
• Operate eye diagnostic procedures (OCT, Perimetry, Retinal Photo, Biometry, etc.)
• Converse with patients inside the clinic and give them options and clarification on their treatment
• Handles patients complaints and reports it to management
• Coordinates with MDs regarding the client’s status for consultation and schedule
• Circulates during major and minor operation
• Assists Ophthalmologist and Optometrist during clinic hours
• Together with the receptionist, receives all walk-in clients and answers their inquiries.
• Makes sure that all patients inside the clinic are well taken care of and are satisfied with the clinic’s service
• Schedules appointments with MDs and answer queries of patients about clinic sessions of MDs

Managerial duties:
• Ensures smooth, efficient and effective clinic operations
• Officially represents the eye center to all Health insurance/government offices transactions
• Helps in coordinating of schedule of staff and visiting consultants
• Acts as the marketing staff in promoting activities of the center
• Monitors daily financial reports of the clinic
• Responsible for the compliance of Philhealth and DOH licenses
• Reports to the external accountant.
• Double checks daily money collection for deposit.
• Responsible for HMO and credit card accounting and payments, claims, monthly reports, etc.
• Closely monitors HMO, PCSO and Philhealth filing, payments. Relay delays to the management
• Makes sure that all bills are paid on time (telephone bill, rent, etc.)
• Does the weekly updates on management regarding the operation of the clinic
• Receives health insurance transmittal/ payment reports and patient census reports
• Writes communication letters to other organization (sm, philhealth, doh, hmos etc)
• Completes all accounting log books.
• Prepares transmittal claims report for submission to philhealth and HMOs
• Accepts payment of clinic / professional fees and issues corresponding receipts
• In charge of safe keeping and bank depositing of all cash payments made to the clinic
• Responsible for safekeeping of all important accounting documents of the clinic
