• 3 years role as PMO of STC Aspiration project to provide GPON/10GPON solution through OSP civil & fiber infrastructure for 5G network of GSM towers in Central & East Regions. CAPEX OPEX, Budget utilization contractor’s performance & invoicing.
• 2 years role as Project Manager (Design & Implementation) of OSP civil & fiber for FTTH GPON (POSTEP, Full Survey FDTs, Missing TBs) & FTTM Networks.
• 1 year role as OSP Implementation Quality Auditing Section, monitoring Implementation auditing/Inspection activities. Review and validate site auditing/Inspection & invoicing of Civil/Fiber workorders in PMCS.
• Coordination and follow up for RTP (Return to Planning) jobs, Network Re-route & Cost modification solutions to FP & DP Planning Dept.
• 1 year role as Project management, STC Head Quarters Support to control design activities of Turnkey and RD contractors. Mapping and assessment contractor’s performance through their complete/inprogress designs. Ensured that the Project Reporting was carried out based on the agreed templates and in a timely manner for planning & design weekly VP/GM reports. Part of the team to update new civil/fiber design/Implementation guidelines. PMCS (SPOC) Single point of contact for all regions of KSA to create features into PMCS Auditing & Inspection Module & solve issues of PMCS with support of developers & ticketing system.
• Hands on experience on Microsoft Office, Ericsson NE tools, MicroStation, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD etc.
• Preparing SLD (Single Line Diagram) BoQ, BoM, Cost estimation, Fundamental Planning Documents.
• Clusters & Parcels validation, Review & validate Approx. 55000 Connections (SDU & MDU) for OSP Infrastructure FTTH/FTTB/FTTC technologies and networks (GPON, XG-PON) in Doha South & West.
• Preparation of High Level Detail Design for Civil Roadworks and Fiber Infrastructure.
• Preparation of Material Technical Specification and Review Vendor's MAR.
• Hands on experience (Arc GIS 9, Telcordia Network Engineer, AutoCAD, Microstation).
• Coordination / Meetings with Design Consultants (Parson, Atkins, KAWSP, AECOM, Hyder Consulting) for all High Level Designs.
• Preparing Official Correspondence for Planning Department & Document control.
• Fibers Assignment section: All projects designs and Asbuilts data updating in NE. QC & Posting NE workorders.
• FTTH/GPON Planning, Estimation, Route Selection, Route Diversity OSP Planning, Fiber Management, Fiber Budget Control.
• Solution Provisioning to Major Corporate Customers and Govt Departments.
• Forecast for future requirements, GPON solution for new sectors.
• Expanding, upgrading & enhancing the Junction and Access Network (Fixed Fiber Optic Network).
• MOPs designing and approval for Fiber Network Implementation.
• Designing working role on ArcGIS Network Engineering Tool of Telcordia (USA) in Network Design Dept. for FTTH, FTTB, FTTM projects to draw civil routes, ducts, Manholes, structures and installed Transmedia, Equipment according to STC standards. Reconciling, Resolving conflicts and performing Quality Check process for Telcordia Network Engineer of Fiber Utilization Project work orders.
• Field works for FTTH, FTTB, FTTC projects in different cities of KSA.
• Attend & Supervise MDTs (Maintenance Down Time) of OSP Projects.
• Fiber Utilization Project Phase 1, 2 and 3, Updating data in GIS Network Engineering Tool of Telcordia(USA) in (STC HQ Riyadh) for implementation of access, junction and long distance Transmission Networks in Network Design Department. Posting Work Orders, MOPs Migration of Transmission Systems (Huawei, Siemens, Lucent) Model Placing, Rings Building, Administrative Units, Transmedia work of Indoor, Underground Cables, and all kind of ISP and OSP work.
• Role as NE Tutor to trained new staff of STC contractors.
• Implementation of LD & Metro Network Projects.
• Maintenance of Optical Fiber Cable Routes.
• Attend & Supervise MDTs (Maintenance Down Time) of OSP Projects.
• Installation ODFs & Testing of Optic Fiber Cable, Fiber Splicing/Jointing & Termination using Fujikura 50S and Acterna, Exfo OTDR, Power Meter, Source Meter etc.
• Preparing official correspondence for Internal Company and Govt Departments, maintain and update the Engineering records including Network maps, Fiber allocation records and Fiber reservation records.
• Inspection the Cable Laying Project at different locations of Pakistan.
• Installation & Testing of Optic Fiber Cable.
• Operation and Maintenance of (Metro & LDI Network).
