I was chosen by the management of GIB bank to be a member of the team that will overlook the takeover of GIB UK Operations by GIB Bahrain in 2009.
•In 2011 the FX and Money Market department was added to my roles for me to become the head of the Securities and Derivatives and Treasury Operations, FX and Money Market Department.
•Involved in the design and implementation of the new GIB treasury system. This gave me the opportunity to work with a 3rd party vendor that was writing the system code, and worked with the bank’s IT department. I was the contact person between all concerned parties to pass along the Treasury Department’s ideas and vision on the system and overlook all the testing.
3. Monitoring all Treasury Financial (Derivatives/FX/MMKT/FI)
4. In term of reconciliation of P&L and Asset/Liability limit daily
5. Monthly report of all exceptions to the Unit Head of Treasury
