Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of direct patient care in accordance with the organizations policy and procedures.

Documents care of each patient from admission through to discharge.
Coordinates and participates in health education for individual patients.
Provides Nursing care to surgical patients, completes pre-operative and post-operative procedures
Provides basic patient care and treatments, such as wound dressing, treats bedsores, and assists patient in proper hygiene.
Communicates and consults with other health care disciplines. Acts as a patient advocate, represents nursing at multidisciplinary rounds.
Administer medications/I.V fluids as prescribed by physician and according to hospital policies. Understands actions of medication and contraindications, evaluates patient’s response and identifies side effects and initiate appropriate action.
Maintains confidentiality and security of patient, family and the organization’s information in accordance with the hospital policy.
Establishes and maintains professional boundaries with patients and members of health care team.
Actively promotes and complies with the organization’s Infection Control policies
