ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Reviewing of Feed contract / tender documents and drawings.
* Reviewing of Datasheets, Material Requisitions, BOM, MTO etc.
* Preparation of necessary documents such as Material Requisitions, TBE, Work Method Statement
BOQ, Cable drum Schedules, Material Take offs for F&G Detection system, Telecom & Security, Electrical systems.
* Reviewing Project Engineering and Vendor Documents / Drawings as per KOC / MEW Standards, Technical specifications and Contract documents.
* Maintaining Transmittal / Submittal work flow and necessarily follow up for the timely submission of
Engineering/vendor documents & drawings to KOC / MEW.
* In charge of site construction activities related to F&G Detection, Telecom & Security, Electrical systems.
* Installation, Testing and commissioning of Fire & Gas Detection system such as FACP, Repeater
Panel, Mimic panel, F&G Detection and Alarm annunciation devices.
* Installation, Testing and commissioning of Telecommunication system such as Telecom and Control Cabinets, Telecom & Control FOC networks, Fiber Optic patch panels, Local Area Network (LAN), Main Distribution Frame (MDF), Data outlets etc.
* Installation, Testing and commissioning of Security system such as Security Cabinets, Security FOC networks, Fiber Optic patch panels, Security Local Area Network (LAN), Building Intruder Detection
Systems (BIDS), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Access Control System (ACS), Security Management System (SMS).
* Installation, testing and commissioning of H.V/M.V/L.V electrical power system such as 11/3.3/0.415
KV transformers, CAT generators, RMU/UDS, UPS, switchgears, switchboards, distribution boards and other control panels.
* Installation and Testing of Telecom / Control FOC (OTDR & LSPM Tests). Coordination with Electrical, F&G, Telecom & Security Vendors for SAT and commissioning activities.

Ongoing / Completed O&G and EPC Major Projects:

* KOC - Construction of 11KV elevated main intake substations in MG3, B8 and B9 in S&EK area
* KOC -11 Patterns Well Hook up and Associated works, North Kuwait (Abdali)
* MOH - Expansion of Al-Adan Hospital Project, Hadiya
* KOC - New Ahmadi Hospital & Residential Buildings, Ahmadi
These projects included Electrical, F&G, Security and Telecommunication systems scope of work.

Employed as Instrument Engineer - Graduate Engineer Apprentice / Trainee in instrument Maintenance department with following duties and responsibilities:

• Calibration, Servicing & maintenance of field instruments
• Breakdown maintenance, corrective and preventive actions
• Major scope includes commissioning/ maintenance/ servicing of PLC controlled automatic machines and calibration of field instruments.
• Involved in the commissioning, trouble shooting and maintenance of PLC controlled machines Utility equipment, Boiler systems.
• Programming and Installation of SIEMENS (S7 200, S7 300) PLCs using Siemens Step7 Microwin & Simatic Manager and Omron PLCs using Syswin.4, CX-One programming software and configuring HMI’s for automating various machines.
• Has gained exposure in PID controllers, Pressure Transmitters, Temperature Transmitters, RTD,
Shaft Encoders, Pressure Switches.
• Operation and fault finding of P/I, I/P converters, limit Switches, Photocells, Solenoid Valves, Control Valves, Load cells, electronic timers etc.
• Calibration of various electronic and pneumatic indicators, recorders and controllers, flow and level measuring and controlling instruments and PID controllers.
• Interpretation of P&IDs and Loop drawings
• As a member of the Instrumentation team for IMS audit 2011, had done statistical process control (SPC), linearity, bias, stability, and GRR study for measurement system analysis (MSA) and necessary documentation work of calibration.
• Involved in the erection of tyre curing presses, breakdown & preventive maintenance.
• Work experience in SAP-production module such as material handling, attendance and work log entry etc.
• Implementation processes related to IMS (Integrated Management System)
• 5S methodology implementation at Instrumentation Lab and Crib units.
