Nomination of vessels and post chartering process.
Control documentation process with suppliers in regard of purchasing & shipping party(s) contracts for smooth shipping, banking (including LC’s), Import and clearing operations.
Monitor loading, discharging of vessels and handling the essential reports for demurrage / dispatch calculations.
• Following up the sales despacth process of White Sugar to customers/countries by:
Mutually plan and approve cargo forecasts with the end buyers.
Lead forwarding officers and documentation team to prepare the required shipping documents, letters of credit documents & allocating the necessary fleet.
• Management of accounts receivables and accounts payables.
• Budget preparation and monitor financial performance versus planed budget to define potential performance improvement opportunities.
• Manage Inbound and Outbound logistics operations through:
Designing packaging of material & truck load for optimum & efficient storage, stock taking, loading & unloading safe operations.
Approval & control of shipping, handling & storage costs of materials.
Control customs clearance process & insurance arrangements by precise monitoring of all essential import & export documentation.
Follow up customer, bank LC documentation on trade.
• Liaise and active follow up to negotiating & drafting contracts with (customers, suppliers, carriage and freight forwarders, independent inspection companies, stevedore agents, port authorities) with full intention and monitoring to keep the involved costs down.
• Implementation of distribution strategy in the local market through fleet of more than 160 trucks, by effective transport planning and maintenance schedules for the fleet.
• Developing and implementing the GDP & safe rules for transportation unit based on HACCAP.
• Preparation, implementation and Development of customized warehouse, order cycle and freight forwarding trace and tracking system with an IT service provider.
• Implementing successful annual forecasts for the agent’s inquiries in terms of size, mode of shipping, packaging type & transit time.
• Proficiency in manipulating agreements, letters of credit and preparation of all essential shipping documents that is necessary for smooth freight forwarding operations.
• Control customs clearance process through perpetration of necessary shipping documents and continuous coordination with freight forwards.
• Preparation and implementation of ISO 9001 requirements for export and logistics department.
• Auditing for ISO 9001 and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) after trained and approved by SGS -Jordan.
• Ensure a very close and professional coordination between sales, warehouses, production, R&D and financial departments to achieve perfect order execution.
• Ensure inventory plan for raw and packaging materials is synchronized systematically with production plan to maintain SKU in the safe levels.
• Prepare annual logistics plan that fulfill demand & distribution objectives within competitive freight charges and track record (Air, Marine and Land freight).
• Coordinating for receivables, payables, freight booking, goods insurance and customs declaration with persistent follow up for good order execution.
• Understanding local and relevant overseas shipping, customs, rules and regulations concerning import / export permits.
• Standardization of packaging / palletizing of materials to match mode of shipping so have optimized shipping cost.
